I know Im randomly asking but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the account password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
@Jake Jonah thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Wow! what a beautiful place. Would love to have a meal there - I can imagine that rock being a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Thanks Richard and Mark for another lovely video.
It would be really special to have dinner there at the castle. Thanks for sharing the history and legends of the area you explored. Thanks Richard and Mark Sellwood. Cheers!
Great video Richard & Mark. I looked up some more information about those "Giants"! Apparently it was the Giant, Bolster, who cleared the hillside at St Agnes by throwing all the rocks over to Carn Brea. One of his favourite pastimes was eating small children!
Remember walking up there from my grandmother's who lived at Barncouse. There is on rock set in the slope know as the sliding rock. We would pull up bunches of bracken, put them between our legs and slide down the rock.
We'll done I did enjoy that, that myth does is very interesting, well all myths do to be honest ! Them rocks were very nice in the way they were formed , they do look great. Great video well done 👍
Great video Richard an Mark the stones were fascinating some unusual shapes neat how they built the castle on the existing rocks , legends aside I wonder if they were from volcanic activity seen a lot of similar things in California and Arizona in the USA
Mark is just fantastic and jolly man, you need to get together more (know that Cornwall is far from Worthing) looked like you had fun exploring Carn brea, the comedy factor just added a little extra to the video. Loved it Richard!
I love those ancient stone's+I'm a castle fanatic❤and that particular cross you showed is what was known in ancient times as the Cornish cross!!! I'm an ancient stone fanatic💚as well...
G'day Richard. Not sure if you will see this comment. During my Grand Tour of England in 1991, I did not make it to Cornwall. After watching this Vlog, to Visit Cornwall is definitely on my List. Hopefully in the near future.
I was born in the shadow of the Carn in Redruth Women's Hospital 1953. Carn Brea was a fabulous playground for my friends and I during the 1960s, clambering over the rocks and daring each other to go into the monument by yourself. There are two very short side passages inside the monument and it was scary as hell for a youngster to go in. I climbed up onto the monument's plinth 1n 1967 to watch the buccaneers bomb the wreck of the Torrey Canyon. Did you pick any erts while you were up there?
Fascinating place! Amazing that Castle has remained standing since the 14th century perched on those boulders like that. Just read about the Basset family - interesting history - did you have time to visit Tehidy House while in Cornwall?
haha will do, on the note about the giants have you looked into it, here is a link they are mentioned in many eras of man kind. th-cam.com/video/1w9bjODQ5oE/w-d-xo.html
My ears pricked up like a Cornish pixie, when the word legend was used! You must relate some of them to us!! That is if Mark has not sacrificed you to the great God Pendragon Pasty??
It was an area of land, particularly in Sussex, that was divided into 'rapes' for administration purposes during the Norman period. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_(county_subdivision)
I can’t get over how that castle stands up on those rocks - remarkable. Fabulous view from up there!
It is wonderful!

Great video Richard & Mark. I looked up some more information about those "Giants"! Apparently it was the Giant, Bolster, who cleared the hillside at St Agnes by throwing all the rocks over to Carn Brea. One of his favourite pastimes was eating small children!

I am sure there are more legends to come!
Richard, your were talking about areas that were called rapes. What does that term refer too?
It was an area of land, particularly in Sussex, that was divided into 'rapes' for administration purposes during the Norman period. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_(county_subdivision)
