- 1080p HD!
I went down to Ebbsfleet to catch some of the rush hour SouthEastern high speed services which go non-stop from Stratford to Ashford! Also rush hour on HS1 picks up a little bit with 2x Eurostar departures in 3 minutes at 18:01 & 18:04, so I wanted to catch the fast services in action!
Thanks for watching!

Great video Rachel, love the sound of the eurostars speeding through the station !
His name is matt
Very nice shots there, and some excellent high speed panning! I know not everyone is mad keen on HS2, but when you see trains at speed like this it's hard not to be impressed - putting aside whether you're for or against HS2 of course.
You hit 100k! congratulations
Lovely and unique sound of the Eurostar.
Very good video of High Speed Action dude :)
Woah! The Eurostar trains only just fit on the platform!
Great vid
@David Bruce as of 2011/12, Eurostar said they did not plan to stop at Stratford for the Olympics, and aren't planning to do so in the future.
AWSOME!
@David Bruce, Eurostar have said that they will never stop at Stratford. The option is there in the event that ICE, or Thalys ever get a service through the tunnel.
Some interesting shots in this video :) My assumption is that you filmed during the evening rush hour.
Looking at the E300 from the back reminds me of T-800 terminator head.
The platform was only built for Eurostar trains. Its a new station.
20 years on, and the original Eurostar sets still look mean as ever! (if a little grubby)
Nice one
18 coaches? Wow! I was looking at the booking website to see if you could just go from St Pancras to Ashford, you can't, which is a bummer. I'd love to ride one of these without having to renew my passport and going to mainland Europe. Probably cheaper to fly anyway.
If I bought a national rail ticket from st Pancras to ash ford would I be able to use Eurostar
What camera did u use to capture this footage
Great come to Chester railway station you might not know it but it is very busy and it is in Cheshire please take my comment seriously
The first shot matt where was that Eurostar train going?
Come to Bristol parkway.
Did you use a tripod.
How did you manage to get onto the International platforms? I thought you were only allowed on if you had a eurostar ticket? Or did you have one :-)? Great Video by the way!
bellminsterboy at no point in the video was he on any international platform
Would have been cooler if you filmed from different points of view, but still a cool video.
I am going to Ebbsfleet International to film the trains on Saturday. Were they difficult about letting you film? I am slightly worried about it, because they may be more conscious of me filming because of Eurostar. Please reply ASAP!
Is Ebbsfleet Int'l an Airport Railway Station, because the last time I went there, there were lots of Trains there and then I saw a Plane coming close, because If it isn't an Airport Railway Station then the Plane must be coming close because It's landing at Heathrow Airport
Mo CityLink26 No, I don't think so. It isn't very close to Heathrow because I live near Heathrow. Could be low visibility up high, but it isn't primarily an airport station.
Sam Jones
you live near heathrow?
Mo CityLink26 Yep, it seems strange to me but, yes I am. It really isn't a long drive from where I live, about half an hour. It is much more complicated to get to Heathrow by rail from where I am though. I have to go to Reading, then to London Paddington, and get a Heathrow Express/Heathrow Connect from there. Not that I have done that yet, I just know the route.
+Mohammed May it's no way near Heathrow, planes are just taking time to get into the skies
So fast!
was here today
I like the shear orchestra of sounds the motor units make. It's as if they just add a whole load of sound generators to make all the noises just to sound impressive, and it's all unnecessary!
Does anyone actually use that station?
most just poeple who come from the northern kent lines, they walk town and head towards france on a eurostar
Got used 2.2 million times last year, so yeah
wow,,
I never seen javelins pass ebbisfleet ode are Thay out of service
Javelins generally run just between ebbsfleet and St Pancrass and they then swap off at the kent overchange
I must say, the noises the Class 395s make when they pass by are, well, disappointing.
Yeah, they are
Sam Jones Anything that doesn't sound like Standard Stock sounds disappointing.
RedArrow73 Yep. Standard Stock is amazing. I am so glad a few still operate as Class 483s. But, maybe not to the same goodness as they were back in the day.
