Loved the huge smile on Luca's face after the wild ride! I appreciated seeing the process of finding a spot as it seems that often that is the most difficult part of travel in a van. Google translate will work with your camera on your phone for those signs in French that are difficult to read. I use that feature often with notes in Spanish (or other languages) from parents of my students. Thank you for taking us along on another adventure. I hope you feel better Sara. Migraines are terrible and I have great empathy for your suffering! Hugs to you both!

So NOW you did it for me and I don't need to go! ugh those curving tiny roads would kill me. there is another way to the lake that hopefully isn't quite so bad as I do want to see the lake but that drive over from Nice, I can check off my list as having done it via drone :-) and with LeAw :-) Merci Beaucoup
Beautiful landscapes of southern french Alps. The climate change, not so warm than the Riviera but more healthy. This area is not very populated and wild. Enjoy Serre-Ponçon Lake, there is a lot of nice spots around.

Wonder is Sara's migraines were forecasting the drop in atmospheric pressure/storm was coming. Or maybe the changes in altitude may trigger it. Love how you are trying to turn things around, but maybe it was a sign to buckle down and stay warm.

Yes, Altitude headache. I live 4mtrs above sea level. Went to Canada and for 3 weeks had headache and nausea . Lovely adventure.
Bravo ! Majestic scenery. Sunny days and a beautiful autunno are coming. 7000 feet and 50 degrees ?! Piece of cake living in Colorado. 50 degrees means shorts, t shirt and a vest.

I travel vicariously through you guys! I (we) need to get back to Italy and tour, and you two need to learn how to Ski! You have some of the greatest skiing on the planet right in your backyard. If you added skiing (Even in the novice phase) you would probably double or triple your subscriber base. Regardless, I’m rambling because once again I’ve been transported away from boring to exiting. I'm 53 and haven't had one in over 10 years, thank God! If only I knew back then but peppermint oil is amazing. If I feel something coming on I will rub peppermint oil around my neck and shoulders and temples (don't get near your eyes...did that once). I good quality peppermint oil!! It opens up your sinuses, has a warming affect and for me within 20 minutes I feel sooo much better. Just a suggestion :) Amazing video!!! Thank you :)

And to finally reach that gorgeous lake. It looks like one of the bluest and clearest lakes on earth. Like you could drink out of it. The view was fantastic, and you chose a wonderful place in France to take us to; somewhere I, and probably everyone else, have never seen. Grazie! Luca, you speed demon! The Squazzini Racing Team lives! Glad you had fun on it, but also so glad you are careful and such a good driver in real life, since you and Sara are very precious cargo. I am praying for you to feel better soon, Sara. Those migranes are not just pesky. They are debilitating. Thankfully, your big, strong Luca is there with you. The joy on Luca’s face during the sled ride was precious. He was a kid again, even if for just a brief moment. Glad the van survived the hail. Here in Oklahoma we can get hail up to tennis ball size. Causes a lot of expensive damage. Are those mountains part of the French Alps?
