@@nicolasjules579 And? Owned mine for 6 months now, love it to bits. Yes, there are things that I think could be improved but many of those seem to have been ironed out with the software update.
Thanks for revisiting this car for the summer test and software updates. I guess we now discover a race against the current PSA platform is useless due to the MGs lower charging speed and efficiency, but considering the price difference this car still represents very good value for the money. The similar priced Mini-E looks to be a Mini-fans only proposition.
Maybe they took cruise control from an ICE car. Regenerative braking doesn't have the same deceleration curve as friction brakes and there needs to be a system to switch to friction brakes if the battery is full or the regen can't brake hard enough.
@@UltimatePwnageNL You are right in your reasoning, as they took the cruise control from the ICE ZS. However, it's all down to the software as the Zoe manages to use regen under cruise control, but has the ability to switch to the friction brakes when the need arises.

I have not checked to see what is displayed when fast charging. Anyone noticed this? Your friend in Norway said he got 22 kilometres more after software upgrade?
Hi Daniel. I realise the gom estimated mileage figure changes with different settings. But when you are charging you can get the car to display in the dashboard, percentage charged, time remaining to fully charge, miles of range in battery. This display seemed to show about 10 miles more than the gom was showing. So I don’t know what it used to calculate it, or did it include some safety margin the gom doesn’t show? Have upgraded software on my MG (last week), but Range to Empty does not appear in the display. Only shows clock down left. In your video, range to empty is constantly displayed. Is it a setting, or could it be that the upgrade is not complete?
Range, must be based on daily usage en not being a result of for instance a constant 90 km/h or 120 km/h test. Because that is whar what we in our daily excistence never do. We just drive from A to B and back.
Multimedia not remembering mute state...my Zoe doesn't do that and right after start, the media is played back at the last volume set...annoying...my fossil Peugeot 2008 did this as well..so I thought it was a French car thing. Thanks for the review, I will stay tuned with that car...and yes, you should do something about your parking. Absolutely embarrassing..... ;-)
Does the ZS have xenon/ Led headlights? The ones I’ve seen has only halogen. And for me good light is one of the first and biggest reasons why I would buy that specific car. My 2012 Leaf has LED, and I want to replace it soon. Been looking at the new model Leaf and the e-golf. But it’s tempting to buy a brand new car for the price of a used one from the other brands... the Zoe isn’t a go, love the range of that thing but the headlights are a no go.
Do you know if the Bongs update includes UK cars? There have been reports that this MG can't charge on cheap overnight tariffs from an internal or external timer. Do you know if this is still the case? A phone app like you have in Thailand would be welcome in Europe. Good report, thanks
Ohme and Zappi wall boxes can inter face with the MG and adjust for lower tariff times. Also fiitng a Alexa controlled switch to the low voltage feed on a cheapper wall box will also work.

160 wh/ 0.621 mile = 258 wh/mile
Multiply by 1.609
160 Wh/km translates to around 257 Wh/mi. BR, Per - ps: you just say: Wh/km x 1.609 (1 mi = 1.609 km)
Range, must be based on daily usage en not being a result of for instance a constant 90 km/h or 120 km/h test. Because that is whar what we in our daily excistence never do. We just drive from A to B and back.
And for city driving + mix of higway, the 90 km/h test is quite close to it.
Good point , you don't drive motorway speed all the time in a normal daily use of the car.
Multimedia not remembering mute state...my Zoe doesn't do that and right after start, the media is played back at the last volume set...annoying...my fossil Peugeot 2008 did this as well..so I thought it was a French car thing. So nice to hear that Chines car makers seem to listen to the customer's voice...so, bigger than DS3 e-tense, e-208...what is the competition? Kona, e-Niro, e-Soul?
Only halogen.
Bongs update is also available in UK.
