wow he literally did. I thought maybe the hammer offs were a common technique in his vocabulary but no he indeed did take that entire motif for that song.
@@sunepedersen8537 Its just a dotted 8th note which he uses all over his discography. That's not too distinct for him. It's rather that the riff is made unique with those features more. But its good you mentioned that.
I love how he plays on a Epiphone. There's this weird unwritten rule that if you had a break trough you just have to bring the Gibson, or Fender or any other A brand. Radiohead was always good in keeping the expectations out
@@harveysengersmusic247 If it is a vintage one. that means that it is better than Gibsoon. Apparently in the past, around the Beatles era (I think one of the Beatles had one) Then Epiphone was better quality then Gibson. - So if Thom is playing a vintage Epihone that means that he is playing on a higher quality instrument then Gibson.
TSH is in my top 5 Radiohead head songs anyway but this is elevated to another level by the wonderful skronking towards the end, which, with hindsight is an embryonic "Just Hands and Mouth". Incredible stuff!...
Dam That was the best live version of TSH I've ever watched them perform .They don't play that much and love it ever since I bought romeo and Juliet soundtrack
@@cacti4926 I know it’s actually a commentary on our relationship with the media, but if you take a bunch of the lyrics at face value it sounds like someone who desperately wants to get railed.
One of the sexiest songs ever.
'Badass' seems to be the right word
badass and sexy
The very best!! See Jonny and Thom play this with just two guitars!! It’s just heaven!! Xxxx
It’s Bc of Leo. He made it sexy ♥️
that face expression at 1:10 really gives authenticity to the song
One of the most underrated Radiohead songs in my opinion....the combination of Pete’s drumming and Colin’s bass on this is fucking epic
Is Pete Radiohead's new unheard of before drummer?
@@MM-vs2et yeah, his name is Pete Best
@@eclipsicallane9179 i might be really oblivious and missing the joke or something but the drummer here is very clearly phil selway
@@dgbeck ;)
Hilarious

You can tell they were really enjoying that one
Holy shit, thanks Reddit, I just found Just Eyes & Mouth
So cool to hear Jonny turn that solo into a new song on the glastonbury live stream with thom yorke last night
Link?

@@clockdockfree it not really the hammer off that is special abou it. It's the rhythmic delay

Colin is as happy as I am when this song starts. ❤
The outro has the guitar lines from The Smile song Eyes and Mouth 👀
EYES AND MOUTH IS ON THE NEW ALBUM!
They don’t even try and this song absolutely bangs 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

nothing like a well placed f bomb
Wow, it's nice to hear a different fresh outro
I love the way they end it in Glastobury 2003 but this Identikit type solos are nice

I love this song. I always think of 90s Romeo and Juliet

Like the Beatles they have three good guitarists. Actually... more. FIVE
Just Eyes And Mouth :)
This song really misses Thom’s Tele Custom. This and Where I End just aren’t the same without it.

Romeu + juliet…
Can some tab out the outro on Thom Yorke's guitar? I already have everything else
