Of course bro, but you’re not buying it for the picture quality you’re buying it because it has a really cheap looking faux wooden frame on it so you can pretend it’s not a tv when being burglarized by the local middle school gang called the Flat Stanley’s (don’t ask… it was a long night bro)
The LG G series or Samsung s95c they have a glossy picture frame like design. They don’t mimic art on the wall nearly as well but they have more features and better picture quality.
I really enjoy my 2021 frame, and I wish that Samsung would help us old-timers out...maybe a software update and a purchaseable matte cover as a 2nd tier solution. I'd pay for it.
There's no reason why you can't put your own matte film on your TV. The hard part will be getting it perfectly clean so that there's no dust underneath. That's the same problem weather is Samsung makes the matte film or you buy it somewhere else
I have 2021 75inch frame Tv as well, but i was looking at the 2022 with the matted screen, to be honest looking at it you can tell the matted look effecting the look when watching regular TV, i don't think im buy another one.
Guys please give honest opinion. Ice decided to purchase Samsung frame TV 2024 . Some videos in youtube saying, Screen is bleeding and dark scenes are not showing good. I'm confused . Please suggest me.
Very disappointed with Samsung’s after sale service. The TV comes with a FREE redemption of frame… I contacted customer service to order the bevelled customised frame but their response was always out of stock and offer will expire soon unless I pay for it with other retailers.
Was seriously considering this and went to look at this in store. Wanted to love it but was just not impressed as it looked more like a digital billboard than a framed piece of art. Ended up going OLED
Got a Samsung Frame 55’’ TV in July 20 for Rs 89K, family went abroad in oct 20,came back Apr 22,TV used till May 23 normal watching,TV died last week, called @SamsungIndia technician quoted Rs 55k panel dead.
Mine just stopped working bought it 2 years ago :( Expensive piece of sh… , and you have to pay for the art displayed, and the stupid low quality “frame” that goes around it.
I'm surprised we need to pay the monthly subscription for the art... I didn't know about it before I purchased mine nor did the store staff told me.
No they have free ones
You can upload your own photos

Some tvs have a mode where they look like a window with a very nice view.
Did they compromise picture quality with this matte screen?
Yup

Any matte display does
would glossy not just be like artwork behind a glass display? matte just seems like a preference option here, not to make it look like framed artwork
Doesn’t look right
I guess youve never been to a museum.
The glossy looks flat, the matte provides the illusion of texture depth. I can tell that much just by watching this short.

@@kevals7 I've been looking into it. I'm assuming not all films are created equal. Would you have a recommendation?

Does 2024 also have a matte finish ?
This TV is so amazing!
I’d place this on my table for D&D and other tabletop gaming 🤓🙌🎲
Always wondered if it gets burn-in
This is an LCD based television. Even with very heavy use, the chances of burn in are slim to none.
Is it oled ? What about burn in issue
Its lcd
It's not an OLED it won't cause any burn in issues
Good question for the LG G series but those have a slideshow display so not much of a risk there either
It’s Qled not Oled so its safe
QLED
Show the tv part
That’s so much better! Mine has glare 😢
