Great analysis Rob, particularly liked the qualification of it as an aesthetic piece…. Balanced and fair. If I hadn’t bought one already I likely would have anyway had I seen this earlier. Thanks.
Thank you , really appreciate it!
Love this !!!
Thank you!!
Thanks mate, very helpful
Thank you glad it helped!
Nice review. Thanks! Also love your book rack/media console. Do you mind sharing which one is it?
\
Thanks it's from Structube the model is called the Vince
Great review! I want to get one of these. What it the product (black blacks) on your wall?
Thanks not sure I understand the question do you mean the black bricks? If so I'm not sure they were already there when we bought the house but it seems like a stone add on to the wall, I guess previous owners wanted an accent wall
In a normal lit room, effective conrtast ratio is higher than ANY other TV due to the matte screen.
I know not everyone loves the matte screen but the room we have it in has tons of natural light and during the day it's amazing no reflections and great colours. Again wouldn't recommend it for a media room tv but in general living room it's perfect
honest and to the point
Thank you
great video. what art was that displayed at 4:30 in the video.
i have a frame and would love to use that art
Thank you it's called tranquil nature it's from the Samsung X Onformative collection
Hi, thanks for the review, it was very informative. May I ask what app did you use to calibrate the TV with?
Its the Samsung Smarthings app, connects right away to your TV .
Hi..just looking to.pull the trigger on a 50" for our kitchen and maybe a smaller one for our bedroom. I have a normal Samsung TV at the moment that can Blutooth the audio...can the Frame do this? If it can does it have symphony mode and do you know if it will mix external Bluetooth speakers with the TV speakers....I really don't want a sound bar where it is going in the kitchen so bookshelf Bluetooth speakers would be ideal...( I can run them for music as well then ) enjoyed the video. Thanks for any help you can give.
Hi there, yes you can connect Bluetooth speakers to the TV very easily its in the main setting list. Not sure if it's symphony mode but there is simultanous output where the volume is played through my soundbar and th at the same time so I think it would be the same with the Bluetooth speaker. Hope that helps.
@@RobsCorner hi..thanks for your time...I also checked my old Samsung TV .Bluetooth works great...not sure about symphony mode I think it only works with soundbar.... I've ordered the 50.. I don't want a soundbar so it's good it can run Bluetooth speakers.. Cheers
@@bassmandudge happy to help
Nice video thanks does it connect to a hotspot or only WiFi?
Both work I tested it using my phone as a hotspot and I was able to connect
@@RobsCorner 👍🏼
How do you lower the sensor when you add a bezel?
Do you mean the light sensitivity sensor or the actual physical sensor ? There is a setting for light sensitivity and the Samsung bezel shouldn't interfere with the sensors
What is the elec. consumption when off
I'm guessing you mean in art mode and that would be between 60 to 130 watts depending on brightness according to samsung the max power consumption is 135w and on stand by it is 0.5w
@@RobsCorner thanks very helpful.
At 3:08 now I currently have a 65 inch Sony witch I am looking at one of these Samsung frame tvs , now I have a wall mount , will the tv work with the current wall mount I got 🤔
There are standard vesa mounting options on the frame tv so you can use 3rd party mounts ,but you might not get the same slim look against the wall as the mount that come with the frame tv.
Wait, how did you connect the one connect box? And where?
The wire goes into the wall behind the TV and comes out behind the console, the 1 connect box is inside the cabinet
@@RobsCornerThanks!
The living room you do not use except for special occasions, ahh the past is now the present. Again.
Haha we use that room everyday it's where we hang out the most but if its movie night for example that's not where we're gonna watch it.
which size is this model?
Hi this is the 55 inch version
