I lost my mum when I was 2. What rings so true in this is the comment when he said the memories would be painful but it’s a pain he would choose. That’s so true. Nothing hurts me more than when people immediately say “oh you can’t remember her then” like that somehow makes it ok. You may not recall someone but your body remembers them. You are made of them.
It’s so sad that Freddie and Bobby don’t remember their mum. I remember watching Jades story and one of her biggest fears was that they wouldn’t remember her and that has sadly come true. Some people will say it was their age but i honestly think it has a lot to do with trauma. Losing someone can be extremely traumatic.
Those poor boys. My heart breaks for them. They have at best hazy memories of Jade and at the same time, everyone in Britain over the age of, about, 25, will know her very well.
My brother raised his 2 child as a single dad....it obviously wasn't the way he wanted it but he did it to his absolute best..I couldn't be prouder of him.x
I absolutely adored Jade. I still remember her audition for BB. She said she had no talent except she could get her body through an elastic band😂 her helicopter ride whilst she had cancer absolutely shattered me. Rip jade
@Dottyforgotty when Jade received her diagnosis, I was sharing a flat with her cousin. They'd fallen out but Jade's illness put things into harsh perspective. It was a deeply sad time.
@tariqkhader6196 heart breaking. I'm glad that they worked things out. I really felt for jade. She would of made a fantastic mom. Jeff has done her memory proud with her sons.
My mum died when I was 9. Only remember her a little. Life after she passed was 30 years of a very abusive dad and stepmum. Completely ruined my life and the trauma never ends. I'm 42 now and feel robbed of a life completely as I'll never get over the unfairness of how I was treated.. n the knock-on effects of it all.
@@farky42my story is similar to yours my dad died when i was 3 years old, my mum had somekind of breakdown and became physically abusive to me and my sister. My sister ran away and went to live with our grandna. Mum carried on being abusive, i was absolutely terrified of her, she gave me scars mentally and physically throughout all of my childhood , took me along time to heal but having my own children helped. Now mum has dementia and my sister and i take care of her which seems weird after everything we went through!! Im so sorry to hear what happened to you and what you went through, just remember you will never be in that situation ever again. Take care
I saw a quick video yesterday of this little toddler on a balance bike going to see his mum's grave and gave it a kiss and it broke me... For the last few days I've been really scared of dying and leaving my little boy behind.
My mum left my Dad when I was 13, and has been in my life but emotionally unavailable, she shuts down my feelings and when I want to connect . She did It again in covid when she refused to have me home after I lost my job in Sicily. Thanks God for therapy and mothering myself.
I lost my mum when i was only 21 months old ,my older sisters where 3 and 8 when our mum past away ,she died at 28 due to an asthma attack this was just over 40 years ago
I lost my dad at age 7, I am in my late 50s & his loss has impacted me my whole life. My step father was not great which was another loss as I had huge expectations. I have snap shots of memories.
jades beautiful boys are a credit to her ❤🙏 Jeff aswell is a brilliant dad the boys have grown up how jade wanted kind and caring ❤ I had a friend who passed away young and has two boys who turned out a credit too her too they are both men now with there own family and would love to still have there mum all very sad ❤🙏
I loved Jade and followed the whole show she filmed before she passed (and on BB) - Jeff (& his Mum & family) has done her proud! Those two boys are adorable and everything Jade would have wanted them to grow up to be 😢

Geoff has done such a great job with those boys, Jade would be so proud of them. Freddie is such a likeable boy and reminds me of his mum. I was hoping him and his dad would win the race around the world, I wish Freddie all the luck in the world.

My dad was nine when his mum passed and all he remembered was that she gave him a blood orange. One Christmas my mum brought some my dad went mental she threw them away. Since his passing I’ve got pictures of her and to see her that she loved all her 11 children
It’s a heart break kids generally forget a lot whilst young, no one knows what any one goes through unless it’s public, or known through tv. Shame really for jade to have passed. Imagine if jade didn’t get on to big brother no one only close friends and family would have known her. Same goes for most who have had a journey through cancer it’s self. It’s crazy how the go fund me works how most don’t ever be noticed. RIP jade
The way they talked about Linda’s mum and dad I expected them to be well over a hundred, they are the same age as my in-laws and just a bit older than my parents , I don’t recognise those characteristics of that generation as they describe at all.

Traumatic? I dont understand. In my view they had privileged lives but are celebrities and making alot of money. So many don't have their parents growing up for one reason or another. The only option is to get on with it. Nobody would be interested in my documentary because how many others are in the same situation as the rest of us
Just because they are celebrities and may have money, doesn’t mean the loss of their mum hasn’t been traumatic. It doesn’t matter about the assets you have, losing a parent and at such a young age is traumatic and very difficult to navigate. I feel for anyone that has been through it, regardless of their financial status.
You what??????? Jeff had a media career before he met Jade. Whilst raising the boys, he has stayed out of the limelight. He's worked and raised his kids. You? 🪣 head!

The same can be said for Peaches Geldof sons because they were even younger than Jade's boys when she died.
