      Yes I think he did forget that psi distortion area stash near the first dude that made him kill him.

      I really wish that they’d let you add some text to those map icons, it’d make this process easier. Either that or add more icon choices.

      @Armakettu What stash now?

      @@Blondefire_HeyBlondie remember the hunt for lt. Shterev? You went to some sort of gas station and talked to one guy there but he killed you and then you did not even talk to him and shot him from behind. Stored full inventory of stuff and continued the quest. It was the area where you drop down from ledge to legde deep underground. Like scar on the earth if looked from above. Try to get it. You just removed map icon and continued on later never taking the stash.

    Yeah I think I mentioned the high AP on certain monsters 3 or 4 videos ago. I said something in the lines of artificially making them take hits like sponges so AP rounds will clear them out faster once you learn which ones have it cranked to max. All AP upgrades are well suited for those and high gear opponents like those snipers that do one shot you those take 8 ap shotgun blast directly to face before dying.

      The AP stuff is rubbish on mutants, a bigger health pool would make more sense and would surely make expansive rounds easier to implement.

    I love the RAM for its hardest hitting stats and 14 round capacity, but you reload shells 2 at a time. The stopping power is bonkers per shell. Alternatively the Saiga rate of fire is as fast as you can click, which lets you capitalize on short windows vs high armor enemies. Combined with a mag reload, it helps make up for its 8 shell max. Imo I like the RAM for just one shotting most lesser mutants and the pure heft/ammo conservation, but I can't deny how good the Saiga is...

      You can spam 2 shots from the RAM before need to pump more shells into the chamber. It’s a limitation you learn to become aware of. And that reload is killer in longer fights, mostly against tanky mutants.
      That said I did find a final shotgun n Pripyat which became an easy swap. Think the RAM’s pure dmg and pen vs the convenience of a magazine. Yeah, it was a no-brainer 😂

    regarding emmissions - is there not the emergency med you could take in the previous games so you can survive an emmission? vinca maybe?

      No sir, no such thing exists as far as I’ve seen. If you’re out in the open, you’re toast. The saving grace is that you can prolong exposure by popping medkits if you don’t quite make it to cover in time, but it’s a losing battle.

    I would say SPSA is not worth it over Cracker simply because Cracker comes with a box mag. Significantly faster reloads and you can quickly swap between shots(for mutants) and slugs(for people) The only advantage SPSA really has is significantly higher fire rate(same as Saiga) - but then it takes ages to reload again. Predator has slightly more ammo and lower dispersion, but it's not really a big difference.
    While on topic of guns, it's kind of late to point it out but all pistol ammo(and rifle ammo, and sniper ammo) has exactly the same modifiers; so a certain caliber is not better than another. For example the UDP Compact has worse stats than PTM/Skif's pistol which means it's a worse weapon period, even though it uses .45 ammo. Actually, that makes the UDP even worse because .45 is heavier and more expensive than 9x18.
    And yes, most mutants, especially strong ones like Chimeras or Pseudogiants, have (very) high physical resistance. AP ammo will work better against them.

      I don’t agree with the way many of these weapons are balanced. I wonder if they’ll address it down the line, or whether it’ll just be one of those annoying points that modders eventually fix.
      The fire rate for the SPSA is very nice, and the general stats are a step up. Reload is a killer, but ideally we’re not vulnerable for long enough to spend all shells. I’m hanging out for the saiga.
