    Another very good video. Thank you. Please add links to items you mention, if possible. Thank you. It will make it much easier for us to buy them if we need them.

    This series of succinct, detailed breakdowns for each aspect of your bag is fantastic. I have not come across anything else on TH-cam that's even close. Your videos are extremely informative while staying short and to the point. The way you broke this up into 7 parts was a great move, as all the information is much more digestible in that format and easier to jump around and revisit or share certain aspects. My only major suggestion for improvement would be that you include a list, ideally with links to purchase, all the items discussed in each video.

    Another great video, thank you for great well researched and tested information. One thing that needs to be added though, DO NOT use a waxed based waterproofing on leather gloves like sno-seal. If you reach into a fire to adjust the wood or retrieve something. Your glove can become an instant tourch. Don't ask me how I know this.

    Thank you for putting together this series. Truly the most comprehensive videos on TH-cam. I've been referencing these in my build. Cheers.

    Consider a gill net, weighs nothing but super effective in a short amount of time.

    Good day. Your education series continues to grow and excel. Nice, nice job. 👍
    In part 2 you have your highly refined and researched lok-sak kits (top right two bags). Your hard work is very beneficial.
    I’d like to see you zero in on the contents of these specialized resource kits to see the individual items. Very worthwhile to see the specific products since they are so critical to surviving if you had to ditch everything else.
    You are very confident with your choices. I’d like to to learn from your wisdom.
    Call it a “show and tell” like we did in elementary school. Might be more helpful to us than you realize.

    Consider a pair of knipex 10” cutters for “procuring” a bicycle in an emergency to expedite travel, perhaps a solar blanket for your backup on-body survival kit for shelter, look into Andy Skurka’s footwear setup from hiking the Alaskan loop, research ultralight backpacking in general - you could substitute several things and save a lot of weight, and consider the possibility of needed to change your signature as a means to evade. Great video tho! I would love to connect and exchange ideas, if you’re open to that, please DM me.

      Here is a breakdown of almost all the gear in it. I may do another video but honestly not much has changed in it.

    Great video! Somethings are not useful for my location, since I live suburbs of LA, but I did get my some ideas that will be helpful to build a better kit.

    A tube of shoe glue would be handy in that fix it kit. I like that trip wire detonator, looks very simple to use and compact. What's the brand of those? Thanks for sharing!

    Great video as always! A small recommendation, I think a WorkSharp Field Sharpener would serve you better as a sharpening tool. Also, I don't know if you have one in your electronics kit but a powerbank is a vital gadget in my opinion, you should have at least one in your kit. If you already have one, I'd suggest you to get the smallest Anker powerbank and put it in one of those small kits. Again, great video as always, keep the good work up!

    Actually.............Start very small and spend a weekend alone and see what you actually really need then change or add as needed. And most importantly you need to go out at least a few times a year and practice with this stuff.

    • @PreparedAirman
      @PreparedAirman  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I go out to test my gear about 4 times a year for the last 7 ish years. Its nice to see what actually works and what doesn't.

    Also, I carry a Coast HX4 in my EDC, cool little light. coastportland.com/products/hx4. Only 80 lumins, white and red light, clips to a shirt pocket, the visor or bill of a ball cap, the clip will fit in molle webbing it's magnetic, runs off AAA batteries and the light rotates about 270 degrees.

    Link for the primer alarm?

    • @Bovineguy1
      @Bovineguy1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are available on Amazon, search for Alarm Signaling device. For a cheaper alternative search eBay for grenade fuses. This can be drilled out and a shotgun primer inserted. I have 8 of these and they have never failed.
