I'd go with this and get something on the exhaust. Sounds better than the Z400/500, Honda is a bunch heavier and the 471cc is meh and the Speed 400 is slightly not enough and a big single which I'm not a fan of. I sat on this and the Speed 400 and the Triumph feels too regular and not enough of a sports bike in the position I like. Anything from Honda new for the 500 bikes is overpriced now.
@@Klooney9mm That's fair. When we've gotten into these comparisons lately it almost surprised me how much more the Hondas are compared to the others. Granted, we dug into it a bit a while back on a LOTW episode, but the Hondas typically have a little bit upscale components, so I think if money isn't an issue, I'd probably lean that way for the reliability and parts. Hondas are typically a little more muted in their street bike engines, but they also last forever. I enjoyed the Triumph though, it was comfy, but the single is going limit the performance in comparison for sure. It'd be great for a little around town. I'd love to give the new Z500 a whirl to see where it sits. I couldn't care less about the sound of a bike. I'd get an exhaust for performance or weight savings, but not for sound.
I bought the NK. I have 8K kms since March, and I need tires. It has been an excellent performing bike. It's great for traffic due to lightweight and crisp performance.
I have a 450 NK for about two weeks now. I had a Yamaha XJ6 before and when I compare the two, I can confidently say that I like the NK more. It is about 30 - 40 kg lighter and it pulls really well in the low to mid-range. 4.9 seconds from 0 - 60. About 1 second slower than an MT 07. Not bad for a 450. The sound coming from the stock exhaust of the NK is insane for a 450cc bike; the best I've heard in the category. The technology that comes with this can't be overlooked: TC and GPS (+ tracker) functionality! If someone touches my bike, I get a notification on my phone, how cool is that? 😊
Wow, I didn't know it had that level of tech built in to it. I had heard it had an app, but I thought it was like for just tracking stats, mileage, etc. Pretty cool!
This bike is more comfortable if you are shorter and Ive done 2 hours on it no issue (am 64) it can easily handle highway speeds, its zip is sensational if you rip it sometimes; Im loving mine in SE Asia through traffic handles superbly and it sounds great with stock exhaust.
Which one would you choose? CFMoto 450NK, Kawasaki Z500, Honda CB500F, or Triumph Speed 400?
Ibex 450 😂

No video really does justice to how good the stock exhaust is. It growls, pops, and crackles, definitely turns heads.

Yeah, a little small for me, but a great machine for what it is!
Hitting N is awesome!
Did you notice the speedometer went to 0? 😂

I'd like to try their bikes out at some point.
Demo truck will be at Barber in October. Or you can go to Lexington KY right after SmortCon!
