My friend Taylor and his girlfriend Kallie came to AZ for 3 weeks to do some shed hunting. I went out with them 2 weekends and this is some of my footage from one of those weekends. I found a few bull elk sheds and a few deer sheds. Then had to hike 4-5 miles to get out of there.

@@RogueOutdoorsmen That’s a really positive and productive way of looking at it. You’re completely right… it’s not a competition. I mostly was referring to the fact that there are a lot of guys out there looking for sheds and most of them are not doing it the way you are. You’re very committed to it and I admire the hell out of that. Keep doing what you’re doing bro. I love watching what you bring.
Up here, it feels an awful lot like it’s over before it ever began. It’s already 80 degrees, leaves are full, grasses are tall… sheds have been picked up for weeks before the opener. It’s a mess. Ha.
But I know - they can’t find them all.
@@BMCBryce yep, that sucks. Closures only help the honest and law abiding guys. I don’t agree with “shed” closures unless you close the forest completely.
That base on that deer shed was probably the coolest I've ever seen. Great video as always.

Gotta give you guys credit. I hiked 750 miles last year, but most of that was on trails. I know how tough the going gets, once your off trails, especially on the side of the steep hills you always seem to be.

Nice!! I don’t know how ya pack out that much bone…I put 4 elk sheds on my pack and I’m dying…but I have had 4 back surgeries so that may be why.🤔 that deer base is wicked cool, I found one similar that is definitely in the keeper pile. Good luck in the coming weeks🤘
