Spotter would have been perfect on my bear hunt last week - 25 miles of deadfalls and underbrush - a little glass could've me helped me find a bear!

I just spent a week in NM hunting black bear and then rode mules up above 12,000 ft looking for bighorn rams with a friend of mine who has a youth hunter coming for a hunt this week. Wow that Vortex would have been great to had in my saddlebags and been so helpful for judging some rams 😊👍👍👍👍

Love this!! Would certainly use this for elk hunting in the fall. Gear weight is the primary reason I only carry my binos in. Sadly there are so many times I spotting scope would be clutch! Awesome video, Josh!!! You're the man!

Hey man!! We met at Hike to Hunt in Flagstaff after you did one of the courses. Super happy for you as you mentioned this hunt when we talked. Great production and overall story! I would use that little spotting scope virtually on any hunt that allowed for some glassing as its not so bulky and heavy as I tend to leave my other one due to weight. Keep those films coming!

Honestly, the first circumstance that comes to mind is using it on a window mount on my truck. Something small and nimble I can keep in my console.

That spotter is badass! I have a backcountry elk hunt that I will be packed in for 5 days. We all know that every ounce counts while packing in a camp on a hunt! It would be awesome to be able to have a scope to use on these types of hunts!

Great video.Doing my second backcountry deer hunt this 2023 its perfect last year i packed my old but great viper spotter kinda heavy,so far the set up i use is what you review and use and i thank you for the guide in gear.

We have a late season elk hunt near Flagstaff and lots of hiking to find them critters. This scope would be the added bonus to the hunt.

I'd think that would be about the perfect spotter to take into the unlimited sheep units. The handful of times I went in I carried the 11-33x50, this one would be a welcome upgrade.

That spotting scope would definitely help me get eyes on my target whitetail buck I’d like to kill this year also what would be my first whitetail buck last year I struck out time and time again on him because I just found the spot and him last year this year I’ve put in many more miles and hours into finding his area but being able to watch that from a further distance and not get my scent into those spots would hopefully keep my odds of catching him off guard higher and hopefully it would help in many other hunts in the future bear season ends here at the end of September first season putting actual effort into it not very big woods in Massachusetts so if I find a fresh trail I’ve gotta go full steam ahead to get on it before it crosses a property line

What an amazing hunt man congrats. I would love to have one for my 2023 Maine Moose hunt. I'm going to go for my maine grandslam this year. Would love to have one for the hunts. Great work again man good luck on the rest of season. BTW the maine grandslam is all 4 large game animals in one season. I've got a turkey and just shot my bear opening day last week. I would honestly keep it in the center console of my truck with a window mount so it’s with me on every hunt!
We would put it to work on a 7 mile deep elk trip come October. Every ounce counts that deep. We have gone some years just with binos and limited our glassing capabilities.
I only have one hunt this season in Oklahoma, so I would use it there. I was successful last season spotting deer then hanging a set and making a lethal shot. Hoping for a repeat!
I’ve got a few hints this year that this scope would be super handy for! First would be my dads first hunt here in az! Then on my late season bull hunt! Cheers Josh keep the awesome content comin!

I would use a spotter on a WA mule deer hunt. Maybe even Utah next year if I manage to draw out.
Every hunt! That size is prefect for keeping in your pack at all times. That said, I'd use it this November 3rd season CO. My dad drew elk and I drew deer.
Spotter would be prime on my January Arizona otc archery coues backpack hunt. Unit 22 😉
