In Malaysia, I was going to the market with my grandma and I had rm15 only and I saw a legless Chinese man and I felt bad and gave my rm5 and my grandma said that's too much money and I said it's okay he needed it. Anyone in that position would be unhappy with their lives or themselves, people just cope differently to deal with that pain. Not saying it's right, but I'm saying it's okay that they're struggling and downgrading them doesn't help.
And all we need is for people like that to be around more often. The moral of this story is to BE that person. I will be that person.
