@@godevils1982as a True Blue fan, only Wilson family was saying that. BYjew will come back smarter and stronger. Glad BYU didn’t entertain that Int Master in Isaac Wilson 😂
I see all these BYU guys saying that we don't want him. I think that our system could make something good with him. BYU has always been better at developing quarterbacks than University of Utah.
Why did Isaac enter the portal? Why have 20+ Utes entered the portal? BYU has its QB for next year. Would have been tough for Isaac to penetrate into playing time in Provo.
@@nealljonesI would take a guy like Wilson and have him develop for a year behind Retzlaff then have a redshirt sophomore take the reigns with 3 years of eligibility in 2026 🤔
Wilson will not be qb1 at Utah either, nor should he be. He needs a lot of work and get himself out of the spotlight for at least a year and focus on the things he needs to do as qb1. He has a lot of potential if allowed to develop and he understands that. Come in in 26 and compete for a spot and not a spot just handed to him.
@@nealljones per new rules they're going to have to reduce the number of players on their roster from 125 to 105. My numbers might be a little off but I read somewhere that next year they want to have 4 QBs on the roster, down from, I think, 7 this year. Bohannon is aging out so that still leaves 2 potential QBs cut or risk not having depth at another position.

YES!!! That's exactly her name (Elizabeth Ann Larson) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her 😊 from Brisbane Australia🇦🇺
As much as the Wilson family is thankful for Zach's time at BYU, they were Utah fans first. Could have been a chess move for other reasons by the family with the preference to still remain at Utah. Really curious to see how Isaac will operate in new OC Jason Beck's run-heavy offense.
This speaks volumes for Utah’s new OC!!! No too QB wants to play IN BYU’s current schemes, especially offense!!! Unfortunately for BYU, they have probably seen their football zenith until there are substantial changes at the top.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Why do you think BYU even offered Wilson? He is a legacy ute, not a legacy cougar....yeah his brother, who was never offered by utah (best offer before BYU was Boise St) had a good covid year at BYU going 11-1, losing the only game against decent competition..but his other 2 years were 7-6...
I watched several games which Isaac was QB for Utah. I was not impressed at all. His passing was mostly not near the receivers and he ran around like his head was cut off. Too short to see over his offensive line. Looked like an ok high school QB. No way good enough to score often and would have added to BYU's problems of not getting first downs. Happy to see the Utah still will occupy space for his dreams.
Everyone assumes BYU wanted him because of who his brother is, but that is not the case. They didn't recruit him hard out of high school either. BYU didn't offer any NIL deal, and that's one of the reasons he decided to return.
BYU did recruit Wilson out of high school. 247 shows BYU as one of 19 teams that offered him. And Isaac Wilson listed BYU in his top six out of high school before choosing Utah. Quit making shit up to fit your narrative. As a BYU fan I find it so odd that BYU fans are slandering this kid. Perfectly reasonable to explore his options after the OC he committed to got canned.
@malaw514 I said “they didn’t recruit him hard” not that they didn’t recruit him at all. Learn to read man. They didn’t push hard for him last year and he wasn’t the top target, but they did give him an offer kinda like with Sam Leavitt. This year was no different. Gave him an offer but didn’t roll out the red carpet for him and make sure his every want and need was met.
@ That’s bull shit and you know it. BYU offered 10 qbs in that class up from 6 from 2023 up from 1 from 2022. It was a top priority position given the failure that Conover put us in and the failure Slovis was out of the transfer portal. Out of the 10 there were only 3 four star qbs and only 1 of those was instate. We are going to pretend that wasn’t a priority? Clear communications from a family that has a good relationship with the byu staff that the kid loved Utah and probably would end up there doesn’t mean BYU didn’t go after him hard. And just because we had success getting lugo and Watson doesn’t mean we were not gearing for Wilson. My point stands.
@ Comments from locked on cougars and locked on Big 12 over the last week are blatant slander. Given how much of the locked on byu fanbase campaigned for Bohanan all season, I have zero patience for the pandering of BS qb conversation that has plagued this and the locked on cougars channel.
This was a good decision for Wilson. It would not have been a good situation at BYU. At least not this upcoming year. He has time. Leaving now would be a mistake.
Drake discussed a scenario just before the last week of conference play where, I think the number was, 8 teams still had a chance to play in the conference championship game, and West Virginia was the last mentioned school that he mentioned that still had a chance.
Drake.... BYU has a decent QB room. My guess is Isaac wasn't a priority. They're 'Run'in Pukes' family suffered through having to root for BYU with Zach. I was hoping BYU would send him packing.
The funny part is they Pettiti wanted to expand with autobids before the season even began, but ultimately Greg Sankey and the SEC will get blamed for it. This is a B1G and Fox idea. Lol

A player entering the portal to test the waters and then withdrawing and staying is NOT unprecedented- it happened last year at BYU.
We know it's happened. But it's quite rare among high profile players.
Tis is good news for BYU. Wilson is not that good of a QB so he won't take p space on a reduced roster
