I absolutely love this deck, I was researching mono blue draw mill and found Kami and this was my first ever build deck.
Thank you! I found using card draw as a way to help pseudo-mill is really fun and also keeps the games interesting. You won't hear other players "missing land drops" or similar complaints because the extra card draw corrects those situations.

@@backtosquarefun oh it definitely is, I started with Bruvac for a while as a commander but he was a huge red flag so I ram dimir horror draw mill for a while to stick with combat but omg running kami as a commander is genius! People usually know someone bad will come from the draw but mill is the last thing anyone would assume. Kami is goated forsure!
I know this is an older video but I love Kami as a commander! I also personally run some new cards in it more like kitnap and mockingbird to start using other people’s creatures when I need an extra buffer since this deck is so good on the mana! Love the video!

I love this! I'm a big fan of mill decks. Fun little combo I like to play is: First I counter an opponent's spell with either Hinder or Spell Crumple and put their spell on the bottom of their library instead of their graveyard, then I cast Tunnel Vision, naming the card I just countered, which mills my opponent's entire deck leaving them with just that one card left in their library. With Kami out, they lose the game on their draw step. It's both janky and powerful!

Mill has always been a favorite of mine in edh even tho it's kinda hard to pull off cool build!

FYI, ancestral recall is technically banned in Commander, yeah? Nbd, if your casual group doesn't mind!
Also, it's your own business, but I'd personally make a proxy of Recall to play with! I personally won't proxy a card I don't own. I don't play competitively, so (as long as my group is fine with it) I've started to proxy my extra valuable cards! After all, you never know when someone might accidentally spill a drink!

Was there a reason you don't include Propeganda (for defense) or something like Feldon's Cane (to recycle your Yard)?
Hey there! It's been awhile since I've played and updated this deck. I had propaganda in it for many years. I only recently taken it out because my play group stopped using creatures as much as we used to. It's such a great card! Definitely run it
