Thank you! I found using card draw as a way to help pseudo-mill is really fun and also keeps the games interesting. You won't hear other players "missing land drops" or similar complaints because the extra card draw corrects those situations. This is awesome you are making this your first deck build. Enjoy!

@@backtosquarefun oh it definitely is, I started with Bruvac for a while as a commander but he was a huge red flag so I ram dimir horror draw mill for a while to stick with combat but omg running kami as a commander is genius! People usually know someone bad will come from the draw but mill is the last thing anyone would assume. Kami is goated forsure!

Hey there! It's been awhile since I've played and updated this deck. I had propaganda in it for many years. I only recently taken it out because my play group stopped using creatures as much as we used to. It's such a great card! Definitely run it What kind of Kami deck are you looking to make? Skittles was in there for a very long time. I have much love for him. I found I wasn't casting him often and when I would use Scion's ability, I was often shifting him into more of the powerful dragons. Honorable mention for sure! What a throwback

Hey! I'm not sure how I missed this comment many months ago. I've been sort of distancing myself from making content, so there is a good chance that's the culprit. Sorry for the major delay! I've typed out looooong comments before on different channels to which they have also almost instantly disappeared after responding. So very stressful. Been on that end of it, and it really is a major bummer. Sorry you experienced it. I think it's a YT thing. Nonetheless, thanks for the time and effort you put into the response you gave. I really gotta respect the fact you put in the effort a SECOND time with another response. That's awesome man! I appreciate you. I think it's great you want to run an LGS at some point. I've had those thoughts many times. I've watched your content many times before and could totally see how that could benefit your hobby. Heck, it could even turn it into a business VERY fast. It's been 9months since I've seen this. Any chance your on the path of birthing an LGS or some sort of Model towards one? Wishing you the best. Thanks for your time and efforts. Thank you for your kind words. I agree with you about the fetch lands, but my play group has banned them bc it slows the game waaaaay down

@@backtosquarefun at that same time though, so dose terrimorphic expanse. Your deck essentially runs 3 of those. Due to only running 5 basics, it's "stalling" for the same amount of time.. with the pain fetch into shock lands, sure it would stall a bit however, you would essentially be bolting yourself to fix your mana curve in a format where health is a hyper inflated resource. On top of having the added advantage of thinning your deck by a considerable margin.. though it occurs to me that if the fetch lands are banned in your play group then that would suggest that spells like explosive vegetation and kondas reach are as well. For the same reason.. may be worth having a secondary stack of cards, almost a sideboard, to alter the flow and playstyle of the deck for when you aren't having to adhere to those rules.

Yeah Fetch lands are banned in my play group bc they often speed up games. But more importantly our play group disclikes the time consumption of shuffling up 100 card decks. The more tutor effects in a deck, the more games begin to feel repetitive. Our group finds it much more fun to have a randomized set of cards and create games that are a little longer. The longer games give opportunities for more shenanigans lol I respect the speed and reliable gameplay as well, I'm just not ad much into it. Those games are specifically great for "last game of the night" scenarios where there is a time crunch. Imo the cultivate tutor is one of the more simple ones. Cast it, announce "I'm grabbing a plains tapped, and a forest. Pass turn" and search while the next player takes thier turn

Hey I think it's like magic the gathering. Where you can play only 1 land/ card in the soul row per turn. I don't think you have to play the card in your soul row before casting spells. So yes, you can cast draw spells before playing a card in your soul row
