I just want to say I love the format of the videos. Open up with the work at minimum 1/3 finished, explain what you did to get there, show us the footage. Then if necessary continue to work and show us that as well. It's so easy to follow and makes the montages that much better; no stopping every 30 seconds to explain.
I’m surprised that the strakes only need a bead of epoxy to stay in place but I guess they only receive a bit of lateral forces. That little extra detail of the diffuser flaring outward is really nice. 🔥
i thinks it’s more for visual at the moment and worrying about getting it completed for sema. the thing about aero is there is alway improvements that can be done no matter how perfect it is
@@offwhitecolby yeah makes sense, but I had always wondered how OEMs make their carbon diffusers. I wonder if they tab them in an epoxy from the backside as well
It's awesome to see your Dad helping out. Part of him in the build now, too. This series came up randomly in my suggestions and I am now hooked on watching this all come to life.
I just want to say that I am so impressed with your work, everything you make just looks so perfect. Your passion for your work really shines through in the quality of it, thank you for having us along on this journey.
I appreciate how your channel is not just covering projects where its all mainly bolt on's and the odd fabrication here and there. It's the whole fabrication process, the trials and tribulations etc. Again as I've previously said, an underappreciated channel.
I think that once you guys put the car through a wind tunnel, you'll probably need a few more winglets inside the diffuser. If you have time, would be a good idea to bring some rigid three wall cardboard and some aluminium tape with you to experiment in the wind tunnel. For other wings as well, possibly some in the front, "gill" type winglets or those that go right under the headlights, since the 240z has that rounded shape, it would help direct some of the flow out (air = liquid, so it will stick to the round shape of the front, which can cause turbulence in the middle).
I love the fact I can go from watching Bisforbullshit and just shaking my head the entire time. To this work of art, the delta of craftsmanship is staggering.
Y'all think about doing in house 3d printed and c.f. bolt on style custom parts as a side business yet? Can't wait to see this thing finished AND breaking necks at sema soon. 👍🏻😎
The edge were soric core doesn't completely go to could be filled in with micro glass beeds in resin, makes it easy to bulk up, blend and round over that edge. There's a couple very good youtube tutorials on making capable shop air filters, they'd help you guys a lot.
I removed my spare tire tub(?) and mounted my fuel cell flush with the new flat floor, so I have been wondering how to mount a diffuser to divert air away from smashing into a 1' x 2' brick wall, basically. Thanks for the mounting ideas!
How much suspension travel do you have with the rear diffuser installed? It looks pretty close in the video but I know camera angles can make things look weird sometimes. Car is looking amazing BTW!
That song by En Vogue is starting to remind me of your build......... Never Gonna Get it!!!!! LMAO!!!! I hope you do though, it's really BadAss!!!! I have enjoyed all of your videos on this thing for sure!!!!
Love the project. However I'm curious to why the name Industry Garbage, as it sounds too corporate/serious. Like IBM is for computers. The name Industry Garbage sounds like a shop that builds large transportation buses not awesome cars.
When the car was up on the lift, you can really see how skinny the rims/tires are. There's so much more room in the inside of the fenders to be filled out and it bugs me so much. 😅
I kinda hope for you this thing works but I highly suspect it won't because it looks very steep, way above the 7 degree rule of thumb. Curious what the wind tunnel will say
How much you paying the tall Red Headed Leprechaun an hour to hold up the Broom, be in your dads way and just look like he has no idea of what's really going on????? I want THAT JOB!!!!!!!! 🤣😅😆😂😜
Well, not clearancing the diffuser with the arms fully extended on the suspension is a bit risky... I mean, it might be a showcar now, but you said you want to drive it on the street... It might end up hitting the diffuser at some point.
Yeah .... that diffuser is going to stall. The jump in cross section is awful, but you could've saved it with properly placed/shaped strakes. The strakes you did put on there however will only make it worse. The inner section is probably going to work, but the outer sections are nothing more than draggy vortex generators.
Your dads disappointment in the Ryobi was hilarious.
need to call it the “cryobi” the way it’s crying for dear life lol
maybe put limit straps on the control arms in the rear so when for some reason on track the suspension decompresses the diffuser doesn't break.
I hope you have an AWESOME relationship with your Dad. Cherish every moment with him. I'd love to have one more day working with and talking to mine.

“I think I need a real saw”
Put him holding that saw with the caption on a T-shirt. That’s the most dad quote ever.
in just 3 days guys!!! i cant wait to meet you all in flesh!! See you soon guys!

That's so cool to be working with your Dad! I'd give anything to have my Dad back to work with him again.😔
That's a next level car tbh! I hope you win as many prizes as you can at SEMA!
Dan the man! Tell him that I said hello and I miss his videos from the woods! Good man right there.
I’m surprised that the strakes only need a bead of epoxy to stay in place but I guess they only receive a bit of lateral forces. That little extra detail of the diffuser flaring outward is really nice. 🔥
They’re gonna fall off.
the strakes may not even be necessary
Yeah I thought that looked a bit jank. I'd have tabbed it in and epoxy a good surface area on the back side. Armchair engineering.

Beautiful design. And intelligent. With enough voids and spaces to satisfy a convention of architects!
I appreciate the 007 goldeneye paint gun action.
Absolute treat looking this "Streetcar" taking shape.
I’ve been anticipating street bandito videos every day like an attic 😅
bandito gang, wassup boys!!💪🏻
what it dooskiii
If this is a street car, I think your definition of “street” isn’t the same as mine. Truly impressive work!
I just want to say that I am so impressed with your work, everything you make just looks so perfect. Your passion for your work really shines through in the quality of it, thank you for having us along on this journey.
That's cool your dad helping you out.
Episode 17. Still no sign of X having knees
lmao the return is near
So excited to see this thing all put together. Such a cool build.
15:13 father bandito is hilarious 😂 have him in more videos
Man i wish i could learn how to make carbon fiber parts. Such excellent workmanship here.
DP from Speed Academy says remarkable every video. You say stabilized carbon and V-weave every video. Its good to have a thing.
I love the use of progressive trance for the time lapse
Awesome to see you hanging with your Dad for a day.

The lower the LB foam, the more it expands. The higher the LB, the less expansion and more dense
Dad is awesome. Great work Tim, the car is coming out amazing. Video's are tops Xavior, soundtrack is FIRE!!
I'm here to give my appreciation to pops! I'll come back to you guys next video!
💯💯💯
Парни как обычно на высоте 👍🏾 Батяне респект ✊
Can't get enough of this carbon goodness. These videos inspired me to start making physical things myself! Cheers!
Also, I want a playlist of the music used in the 240Z series :) It slaps
hell yea. make sure to send over what you make.
Damn this shits serene
thats a ginormous diffuser
I wanna see a carbon fiber caddy limo
Good luck in Vegas! Happy to see your dad helping you! Great job!

I love this build!!! Great build buys!
You already know this bout to be🔥🔥🔥 Bandito type shit 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿🔥🔥🔥

This is a cool build to follow!

you should do a in person course on carbon fiber work. I’d fly out and take it.
my dudes! the frequent uploads are rad!

This car is looking sick👌🏼
Street Bandito x Tofu Auto Works when?
The full flat bottom is 🔥
Has the original render been “aero” tested ? Out of interest
A wild Greg has appeared... we miss you G havent seen you the whole series then you dont say hi? Or did ex do you dirty, and edit you out lol
wait...two more days? y'all done!? holy!

At 2:00, the "pound" rating for two part foam is how much one cubic foot of foam will weigh after expansion
What are those mounts / buttons for the diffuser?
A diffuser the size of my bed? sure why not...
why not take a diffuser nap
aero-sleeping is the next big thing...@@StreetBandito
Ryobi circular saw might have worked better if your dad wasn't trying to cut the table too ;-)
Dan makes an appearance at about 50 seconds. 😂

Since it is an EV, Underglow would be fitting. And in the future itd b a cool way to see how charged it is.
8:40 When did the original z get a new wing?
Tries two Ryobi's - "I think I need a real saw."
I kinda hope for you this thing works but I highly suspect it won't because it looks very steep, way above the 7 degree rule of thumb. Curious what the wind tunnel will say

Any way to get a playlist of the songs used 😅

Did you use stabilized carbon?
what’s stabilized carbon?
👍🏼👍🏼
Where do you get your music?
one of the first
God really has it out for gingers
3K stabilized is trying to take the throne from Partall paste but we know that will never happen.
Well, not clearancing the diffuser with the arms fully extended on the suspension is a bit risky... I mean, it might be a showcar now, but you said you want to drive it on the street... It might end up hitting the diffuser at some point.
Mr. Stabilised Carbon. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What i want to really know is what side of the Isreal/Palestine War that rear diffuser is on, cause its pretty bomb.
Boomer dad making sure to wear his safety squints while taking a circular saw to that wood.
With age comes wisdom sonny boy, why you got a visor on your helmet? I rest my case 💁♂️😮💨
"Road car" 🙂
First!
idkkkk some folks might beg to differ lol 👀
Shoot your z custom license plates in the chat, trynna get some inspo
Oh and love you boys. Shout out the V weave
WAIT, is that a new wing on the carbon z or am I trippin
Ugh Central Cee on the radio in the background 💀
design will have zero parachuting like most oem designed rear ends, car gonna slice through the air like butter
Take away from this video is don’t buy ryobi tools.
Thart was Nohairs, not even once.

what’s that? lol 😂

As an aviator I gues your diffuser is to aggressiv in expansion. It will become turbulent and looses its function.
saftey glasses for your pops? you dont want organic material in your retina
When I see people using pedestal drills and not clamping the part, I cringe 😬 🤕 same for angle grinders with no disc guards 🤷
