The secret is that they retroscript - so they have an idea for the plot and the lines and actions are improvised. It feels a lot more organic and relatable.
Unfortunately the newest season feels harder to relate to, like Larry was just lecturing. There were a couple good episodes like the Klansmen one and the Japanese restaurant, but outside of that it’s been meh.

All the daily quarrels that don't lead to "social awkwardness" like it is in the outside world, all the "annoying" questions that are kind of smothering but show partner cares as well. Sometimes you like the feeling of being defeated by someone that loves you.
