KISS for padlocks thanks for detailing this amazing technique as there are many many keyless paddies out there and its a lot less bother than the trad tech great stuff Coxy!
More than welcome buddy 👍 It's definitely a quick and dirty technique 😉 Very suitable for stage escapes 🤣 Stay safe and have a great week ahead buddy 👍 😀
Thanks very much buddy 👍 😀 I do try and show different ways to do things. Plus, this method is easily available to people with a standard pick set. All hail the all powerfull Z tension tool 🤣 Stay safe and have a great week ahead buddy 👍 😀
The levers are there - this method is kind of overlifting/brute forcing an open. Its weird, but cool at the same time. It does require more tension via the top bolt, which I think helps speedily set the levers in turn. Definitely a useful trick to keep in your back pocket though 👍 Stay safe and have a great week buddy 👍 😀
@@CoxysPicks Thanks for the info. Ive used this method of tensioning before for other 4 and 5 lever padlocks, and then a bent pick to push up each lever seperately. So, what youre doing here is overlifting all the levers and then using the tensioning of the bolt to drop them into the gate one by one? Ive used a similar method on tricircle pin-tumbler padlocks.
Technically yes, as in, all lever padlocks using the old English form factor, and that have a gap at the rear of the shackle can be. It gets harder to achieve with more expensive locks, which have a better shrouding effect on the shackle. These lock styles are really common in the UK, and as such we have a LOT of cheap, badly made ones available, even with high end branding (like ACE). If the lock is classed as an Insurance lock, then this vulnerability is not an option and you have to pick via the keyway. Hope that makes sense buddy. Have a great week ahead and thanks for Watching 👍🥳
Great demonstration thanks for sharing.

Cheeky technique but very cool.
Does that work with the 440's and 220's as well?
I dug out some 220 and 330 and 440.
I can confirm it works - just a smaller target zone 👍

@@CoxysPicks AWESOME!!!

Can all lever locks be tensioned this way?
