NATO in its current form is the problem as long as they do not have peace as the goal of diplomacy. NATO does not have diplomacy as a tool to prevent war and that is a great shame.

I really hope the world will step up the help for Ukraine. And if death, suffering, and destruction are not enough reason to help, then maybe consider that the area east of the Dnipro river is Ukraine's oil and gas basin. If Russia can secure that they will use it for energy blackmail.
The biggest humiliation of the war has been the West's response. Zelenskyy is being kind. The Ukrainian people have been incredibly brave and have sacrificed so much. Zelenskyy day in and day out is watching his countrymen die and his country reduced to rubble and it obviously weighs heavy on him. How much more do they have to lose before the West gets serious? I am speaking as a Westerner and I am ashamed of my leaders.
