We are headed to Marco Island in January and watching this makes me very excited to go! Shelling is my favorite thing to do in Florida when we visit and we are staying on Marco so I can explore the 10,000 islands ❤
Be sure to check out Tigertail beach on Marco as well! Walk towards the point (turn right after walking around the lagoon to the beach) - it's definitely a hike but so worth it!

Love the way the acid reacts to the shells by exploding into thousands of tiny bubbles! ...and in 4K, the cleaning process is very detailed!...Thanx for all this!😊
Family is coming to visit at the end of the month and we’re renting a boat so we can do an all day family shell tour. I’ve been to the 10k islands to shell once before. But this family trip will allow us to hunt for much longer. We’re all so excited to go. We hope to fill our bags and then some! This was a great episode and helped to further my excitement for our trip!

Brian, you found gorgeous stuff! I loved those dark Gaudy Naticas!! My mom and I were there in June. We went to Dickmans and Kice with Treasure Seekers. We didn’t find the stuff you did. I think it was due to us being there and high tide.. We went to Keewaydin with the Water Wuber another day and found a lot more stuff there.. Thanks for taking us along with you! Take Care my friend! Sharmon from SWF beach walks discovered that you rub some petroleum jelly on the glossy parts of the shell, they don’t get ruined by acid treatment. Just a thought
