yep exactly the same... we were going to go a Sorrento or Sportage... we test drove this and bought it then and there (without the 12 month wait of a KIA). Despite a few quirks (not being able to save seat position based of keys etc) it's an incredible value car. Tech is off the charts here. If you love your tech, you will love this car.

Toyota have gone mad with their pricing and to be honest, the quality has not kept up with the price increases. Let's not even talk about availability, that's simply woeful.
Once you get used to driving the Haval H6, it's a great medium SUV and the price Vs quality and what you actually get is bloody amazing. GWM, keep up the good work and the likes of Toyota must be shitting themselves. 🙂

I really like your approach, and the way you conducted your review. It feels fare more free of any bias than other reviews. You put it in perspective nicely.
As someone who is shopping for a vehicle like this, I feel that you have presented it fairly, and generally mirror my feelings as a family vehicle.
I had the demonstrator in the driveway last night, and will probably purchase one and feel more confident now that its a good choice.
Agreed it's not a sports car, but that's not what we want from a family SUV of this size.

Agreed, we're all moving into new territory as the Chinese cars have reach a quality that you just can't refuse at these prices anymore. Opening the boot manually (I guess with an emergency key) - due to a flat battery - is one able to re-calibrate the boot open/close limits WITHOUT visiting the HAVAL agents?

    The pros:

-Auto pilot and Camera quality is on par with Tesla model 3.
-Loads of safety tech even in this price.
    -Loads of space everywhere.
-7 year warranty gives peace of mind considering it is a chinese brand.
    Cons:
-Cheap glove box plastic, feels tacky
    -Horrible, absolutely horrible sound system
-Turbo lag is severe. Very bad
-Engine not refined (is different in the hybrid)

Sorry, but I couldn't find any reasons to press on the like button as you seem to waffle on too much. Also, if you're going to review something, then you need to come across convincingly that you know what you're reviewing well enough and that you can relay that engagingly. Research well, familiarize yourself with all the relevant technical concepts and translate them to the viewers to the point where you're actually selling the product, even though that may not be the scope of this exercise. I know that talking to a camera while driving is challenging for anyone, other reviewers seem to be able to do it better. Either memorize a script to deliver while driving, or add a voice-over track in post-production. Also avoid including sound effects in your script as they can easily overshadow the material content in viewers' minds. All in all, there's a lot of room for improvement here.🤨

This car doesn't have DAB+ radio and Sat Nav . A big mistake

You can get both with phones. Sat Nav is so dated no one wants to pay every year to update maps.

I wouldnt want Sat Nav. Constantly needs updating at extra cost, whereas bluetooth or Android Auto my Samsung phone for instant Google Maps which are constantly updated.. 🤷‍♀️ sat nav in cars is now outdated..

Disappointing fuel efficiency, looks complicated, expensive... no wonder Toyota has punters waiting in line. The only reason why you would look at this if it was way cheaper than the Toyota... regrettably it's not so this is a big fail for me. I'd be surprised if they sell well.

Not sure where you get your info from, most h6 hybrid owners are getting average of 5.5L/100kms which is amazing for a much smoother more efficient more powerful engine than a Rav 4
This is a lot less than Toyota and they are selling as soon as they get stock.
The only reason Toyota has people lining up to buy is they can’t provide a car I’m in less than 18 mths which is terrible for business

It doesn't have any CVTs. I think. As I said, really hard to tell. There's a seven-speed twin-clutch and a two-speed on the electric motor. That's all (I think) I know.
