Man I flicked through a few other covers with disappointment but then saw this and my faith is restored. Other covers I saw were so focussed on perfect production and hitting the perfect notes, and so concerned about looking good for their followers... this is not rock and roll. This song is full of the pain of adolescent powerlessness and sadness and confusion and blink made this song loud and raw to best express that. You gave this your all and you can feel the emotion of the song even with an acoustic guitar. It doesn’t much matter about hitting the perfect notes it’s about conveying the message and the emotion and you did that. Even when your voice cracks it doesn’t matter in fact it makes it better because you can feel the heart you’re putting into it. This is rock and roll. Thank you
