Installing a Vevor 12V 8KW Diesel Heater In Beneteau Evasion 32 Sailboat During The Winter of 2024

Always follow Manufacturer's instructions. This video merely shows how we did it, not necessarily how it should be done. In this video we install an inexpensive Vevor Diesel heater in Gerald's sailboat. This video shows the installation process we took, and some modifications we made to what comes "in the box", along with some add-ons. Also, Gerald gives his take on the heater after a few months of usage.

I see you used the muffler. From what I’ve seen in forums is that those are meant for vehicle installation outside of the vehicle and apparently have a small drain hole for moisture. From what I’ve read that hole can allow exhaust gases to enter the boat and that it shouldn’t be used. Your muffler may be different but I’d suggest investigating that to be sure you’re safe.
