Idk if anyone else thought this but when Kev asked if he ever did a hook just for the bag, maybe he didnt love the song or the artist. Its a tricky question, not saying Kev meant it to be but it is, because Akon might accidentally diss the artist. But Akon flipped the question and said I did a hook for an artist that I initially didnt know too well, but we ended up forming a great relationship. Akon's social skills are rly up there, it leads to his business skills and success.

He dropped a latin album called El Negreeto (2019) and an afrobeats album called Akonda (2019) (for some reason Akonda has been pulled from all streaming services. You can still watch some videos on TH-cam though ). Then he released an EP called Ain't no peace in 2020.
The 2 albums mentioned above were not targeted at his fans in the US.
