Great interview. This is a great lesson on communication. Perception is reality. We all have differences on how we perceive things so therefore multiple realities exist. I believe its important to understand that the experience of our individual realities shape and influence how we perceive and deal with new experiences. Communication is a chance to experience the reality of others. We have a better chance if we do our best to accept that and not judge the info we obtain based solely on the emotion of our experiences. We will never fully understand what it was like from their consciousness but if we listen to the story and attempt to be empathetic we can add it to data our mind collects and use the info to shape our future perceptions in that a way that leads us to enjoying the time we are here keeping the flame of our species lit.
As long as the people are smart enough to take that out of this conversation.. instead of praise AB because of his success in sports n music.. and just eat up everything he says! That’s what the Kanye followers do, and it’s sad.
PBD should do a video talking about the feelings that *HE* went through during this very difficult interview. There are so many lessons to learn from how Pat and Adam handled an extremely difficult guest.
Amazing podcast, this is the best one yet! You can see and understand his frustration with everyone that blocked and opposed him and Pat is an amazing listener and hopefully he understands why he lashed out.

It’s not mental disabilities… it’s character flaws; poor communication skills & emotional outbursts, and lack of respect for others. When you want respect and understanding, you have to be able to give what you want to receive. If he worked on those things in personal development- he would be very successful long after football. Without that attitude adjustment, and some humility, success is not gonna last long term.
I feel for Antonio and that feeling of being a commodity & being on the defensive. The podcasters held him down to express himself so respectfully💜- the nuance of being a black man with limited options. ‘sacrificing your mind, your health… modern day hunger games’.

I watched a few of pat and his co partner podcast a few times now. This dude is legit. Very understanding, doesn’t judge, let’s the person talk. Pat is a great and humble man!! Very powerful. And Adam handled this conversation wonderfully. Unfortunately, AB is suffering and I think these men saw that.
I respectfully disagree. Obviously, I don't know these men personally. But I follow their content daily, and I'm fairly confident that Pat genuinely cares. And of course he wants views. That's the business he's in. He's a capitalist. Doing something he loves, who's in service of others and makes money while he does it. I don't see a problem. I see him living the American Dream! And good for him. Also, AB came on the podcast by his own free will. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if PBD was helping him out behind the scenes. We witnessed PBD's negotiating skills take form in live time.. He analyzed the scenario he found himself in, sat back and considered his next approach, then addressed the situation directly.. PBD then sat back and allowed Adam to ease AB's mind by showing him he's not in a hostile interview.

I don’t understand how or why he thinks that you only have CTE if you die from it. Great interview. This is a great lesson on communication. Perception is reality. We all have differences on how we perceive things so therefore multiple realities exist. I believe its important to understand that the experience of our individual realities shape and influence how we perceive and deal with new experiences. Communication is a chance to experience the reality of others. We have a better chance if we do our best to accept that and not judge the info we obtain based solely on the emotion of our experiences. We will never fully understand what it was like from their consciousness but if we listen to the story and attempt to be empathetic we can add it to data our mind collects and use the info to shape our future perceptions in that a way that leads us to enjoying the time we are here keeping the flame of our species lit.
As long as the people are smart enough to take that out of this conversation.. instead of praise AB because of his success in sports n music.. and just eat up everything he says! That’s what the Kanye followers do, and it’s sad.

He made sense to me telling the host to start letting people know he's a human being before telling them he's your entertainment. But there's only a part of America that can even relate to that. That explains why you said what you said.

I kept thinking you should just end the interview but, again I’m so glad you didn’t. It’s obvious Antonio has had a lot of HURT in his life. I’m sure the disappointments he has endured in his life time has caused him not to trust people and to assume everyone is out to get him. I think in the end he saw you genuinely cared about him. 🙏❤️

That's right. I would not have his interview skills and patience. He obviously felt he was in a hostel speaking environment. When they started talking about vehicles, he started to loosen up. I didn't get any information out of it for myself but I observed amazing interviewing skills... Pat is amazing.

I don’t understand how or why he thinks that you only have CTE if you die from it. It’s a problem in the brain that we can’t completely find out about until the person is dead and we can go in and see what’s up. But while you are alive, there are symptoms and behaviors that reflect whether or not you have some sort of issue going on. He has been showing signs and symptoms of having CTE and people are focused on it because he’s one of the greatest players of all time and people care about it. They wanna know more about it and try to help. God bless this man. I hope he has a beautiful life
