@@PlumbLikeTom Thank you Tom for putting out the videos. I live in the highlands but used to run a building company in London. You just can't get plumbers were we live so its been amazing to watch your videos and learn how to do things. It actually helped me to do a new oil combi install. 👍 Not looking forward to the service though! keep up the good work, great content
Great job mate. That last job I would have made false door over it just incase. Then easy to get at waste pipe in future if needed. Always watch your videos. Brilliant reminds me of me plumbing. Keep it up.
Thanks for the support as always Kevin, I should have probably done that, it was a job I had priced though and it's sometimes where do you stop. I had only allowed to fit a new sink and got unlucky with the boss leaking, I did ct1 one the boss in a wedge the pipe so hopefully it should be Ok.
I rate the Rothenberger tape measure. Rather than a lock it holds where it's pulled out to and you push the button to retract it. Great for a soldering prop. Interesting jobs as always. Btw I'm stealing make like a shepherd 😂
Thanks for the support as always Tom, I stole that saying from a youtube electrician called Tom Nagy, I used to really enjoy his videos but he only posts about once a year now
Hi Tom, a nice mixture of jobs in this film thank you. Good to see the press tool in action again, that loft space appeared very tight to work in. All jobs completed and looking good, have a great week and take care mate. 👍👍👍
Thanks for the support Mick, I thought I would try Sunday to see if it would attract a new audience, I lost subscribers though so I might go back to Monday's, thanks for watching 👍
I could have done, it will take a while for that vent to get that bad again, by then the boilers will likely have been replaced and the system pressurised, thanks for the support as always
Tom can i ask about the brass male iron into the steel fitting. Are there any issue with dissimilar metals with the pipe elbow being steel and the male iron being brass? Great videos thanks for sharing tour knowledge.
Ideally you should keep the materials the same but the brass does act as a dielectric anode to help prevent corrosion between the copper and the steel, thanks for watching mate 👍
If everything is working OK I would probably leave it, I would be more inclined to spend the money on fitting a filter on the boiler return if you don't already have one, thanks for watching mate
Hi all, I thought I would try a Sunday upload this week and see how it goes, thanks so much for watching, hope you all enjoy the video
Thanks Tom understood

So awesome you got that pipe to come out
I think I got lucky there, most of the time you need heat to shift them, thanks for watching mate 👍

Thanks for the support as always mate, I was pleased to get out of the roof 👍
Those rubber bosses are nightmares, they shouldn’t ever be allowed to go into boxed in SVP’s.
I agree, they should be glued everytime, thanks for watching mate

45 to 45 to prevent any sludge laying in the horizontal pipe?
I could have done, it will take a while for that vent to get that bad again, by then the boilers will likely have been replaced and the system pressurised, thanks for the support as always

Hi my heating system has never had a flush but wen I replace a radiator the water looked clean do you think I should flush it?
If everything is working OK I would probably leave it, I would be more inclined to spend the money on fitting a filter on the boiler return if you don't already have one, thanks for watching mate
Who the hell would do it in steel pipe?
It would have been the original pipework, it was in a commercial building so it was quite common, thanks for the support as always Dave 👍
