    Imagine being so terrified of something that you are willing to spend the rest of your life in prison to get away from it, only for someone to bring it right back in front of you after you narrowly managed to "escape" it the first time. That man was terrified beyond belief, he just got 'lucky' that it wasn't Rose's time yet.

      @masafromhell ปีที่แล้ว +352

      Especially when you realize that you are all alone with the "thing" that requires exactly one person to witness the suicide directly, and she said she already was 4 days in.

    Just imagine Robert's reaction upon finding out how Skye Riley died at her concert and the whole audience witnessed it, realizing the curse is going to be passed down to everyone. And not just people at the concert, but even people who witnessed it on a live stream since people at the concert had their phones out. That will make it spread more. Therefore, Robert will worry that anyone who the Entity is targeting will come to the prison eventually. And with that, Robert might commit suicide all alone in his cell to ensure that the Entity doesn't claim his soul.

So who knows if it would be similar here. I guess we'll just have to wait for another film to find out.

      Some people are sociopaths from brain dmg or a very early physical injury. It’s not always a traumatic experience that triggers sociopathic behaviors. Assuming that the demon cant read minds of people they arent possessing, a sociopath’s complete lack of empathy would help kill it. At best, it would be a venom duo comedy, at worst, the demon just dies with them

    • @ryanstauffer119

      Well, I think the Entity would still find some way to scare a psychopath. Even if it's not fear, the Entity will do something to make them uncomfortable.
      Here's an example. In Stephen King's story "IT", there was the character Patrick Hockstetter who was a true psychopath. When Pennywise appeared to Patrick, Its face was melting and hardening like wax as if It was having trouble deciding what form to take to scare Patrick. But despite difficulty, Pennywise knew one thing that would make Patrick afraid. It created an illusion of leaches all over his body sucking his blood. Even having one in his mouth sucking on his tongue and one sucking his eyeball. Pennywise did this because when Patrick was a boy, he went swimming in a lake with his parents one time and there were leeches all over him, leaving him traumatized. As Pennywise was about to kill Patrick, Patrick was truly horrified because he believed that he was the only real living person and that everyone else were just figments of his imagination. That when Patrick dies, all of life will end too. This is known as solipsism disorder.
      So if the smile entity encounters a psychopath who claims they cannot be scared, the entity will do whatever it can to frighten the person.

    • @seraphywang4638
      @seraphywang4638 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @
      I mean, it’s one thing to feed off trauma, it’s another to recreate it entirely. Assuming that the condition of passing it on in the first place is that initial traumatic suicide/murder, a sociopath with no empathy or sympathy for another will not feel anything for said person. Maybe objectively, that person will go “meh it kinda sucks” but otherwise, it’s not really going to effect them.
      Psychopaths are also different than sociopaths btw. Psychopaths do feel trauma and sympathy(though empathy is questionable in most cases), they just tend to be impulsive, narcissistic, and manipulative. Even if they only care for themselves, they still hold a great foundation for deep insecurity and potential trauma.
      Sociopaths are simply born without the feelings of compassion and empathy. They may still lead fulfilling lives where rhey learn to care but the physical emotion of empathy is not present which is why even if they certainly feel an emotional connection to people they deem friends, it’s very very difficult to feel anything for them even if they die.

    • @nojam6212
      @nojam6212 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@ryanstauffer119That effect only happens when the curse is passed upon a person and the demon's only way of passing it is by traumatizing someone by a currently cursed person's suicide. The demon can't traumatize a person in any other way unless the curse is passed upon him/if the person watching is traumatized by the suicide. Sociopaths have a high chance of being immune as the sight of a person commiting suicide will not affect them and the most reaction they might have is probably to get confused as to why someone is randomly taking their lives in front of them 🤷🏻‍♀️
