    Hahahah. Got halfway through vid before I realized it a rzr and not the krx. Lol.

      Yeah the KRX has a really good ratio from factory. After this upgrade it was almost exact same as the KRX

    Make sure your belt Alignment spot on if its by like1/8th inch will burn up belts quick!

    Nice video. Just curious, is the gear reduction across all gear ranges? I’m no the ledge about doing one on my 19 1k.

    • @XpensiveDecisions
      @XpensiveDecisions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the double we installed affects high and low range. You can get a low range only but I was worried about the spread between them.

      @@XpensiveDecisions I’m leaning towards the 25% just for the simplicity. I’m currently stock with a dalton clutch kit running 32 zillas. It does very well for what it is. I twisted my front prop shaft in two this weekend so it’s looking like time to do some upgrades

      @@head458 Would definitely help out, I didn’t have many issues until I went with sticky zillas. Did a gear reduction after replacing belts almost every ride. My last ride claimed the front diff and a sandcraft drive shaft

    Size Tires?
    I am torn currently about doing this. im trying to figure out my % reduction that i want.

      I like it a lot. I wish high wasn’t as low, I am turning some RPM.

      @@zeks05 I am running 32s and it will go 65 but haven’t tried to maintain for a long time. At 50 mph it’s over 6k rpm.

      @zeks05 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@XpensiveDecisions well accordingf to OEM end of shift phase is 8000-8500 for 55mph. so with my tune mine will run up to 9200.
      Do you think it lowed your high gear more then you thought it would. i have been looking into the parts seems they lower the the % between the gears like the reduction is the same % across the board so to speak.

    • @XpensiveDecisions
      @XpensiveDecisions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zeks05 I don’t do a lot of higher speed driving so it works fine for me. I do like lowering high range bc I think the split between the extra low and a factory high would be too spread out. Mine is really comparable to the trails and rocks factory gearing now and the factory KRX gearing.

      It was a 37% overall. It was a 12% and 25% kit. Never really noticed a change to reverse. Low and high was a big difference. If I had to do again I wouldn’t get as much. Really affected normal road driving.
