There are three stages to hair growth, the Anagen phase which is the growing stage, the Catagen phase which is the resting phase and the Telogen phase which is the falling phase. After having a baby or a bad sickness like Covid you will experience Telogen Effiuvium which is a hair loss that is 300 or more hair lost a day instead of the normal 50 to 100 hairs lost in a day. It does come back tho so thats always a good thing to know..

When my last baby was born my hair was at my hips, by the time he was a month old - it was graduated bob, longest part was an inch below my jaw, I also had a 1 yr old baby as well so it wasn’t so practical to have long hair, it was in great condition as well, but just not practical. Your hair came out lovely, well done!

Definitely get a shower drain catcher. Not sure if you've seen the baby blues postpartum hair vitamins but I swear they saved my hair after this baby. I have a lot of awkward regrowth but it is coming in pretty fast and thick. Would recommend them.

Funny story: my hubby before we got married was looking scruffy, so I of course volunteered to cut his hair for him, as I was always promoting the frugal lifestyle...but I accidentally barely snipped into the top of his ear. Thankfully, he didn't run and married me anyway. Still lets me cut his hair, and amazingly he still has ears.
I have to give you lots of credit for just cutting your hair for a new ‘do’! I spend a gazillion dollars on my hair and I like yours better! You look beautiful!

They always did fine, and I figured even if they didn't it'd grow back. That's why I decided to try it myself, too. So even if you didn't feel like cutting your own, you could live on the wild side and go the cheap route of Great Clips if you wanted to save money! lol.
