Thank you for the simple, no-nonsense presentation. Excellent! One question, is the 8J engine piston designed the same way? With the oil cooling groove in the piston? If not, then swapping a set of DAZA pistons and forged rods into the cast block would seem like a smart move. Thank you again for the information.
Hello, the problem is most steel block engines are worn out - so stock bore pistons won’t make the job on most cars - but this is something we’re working on :)
There is a reason why MRC cap it to what yours is capped too. Stick with that 👍🏻 The later alloy engines don’t like as much torque at the old cast engines because they also make more power with a factory bigger turbo
@ Correct mate… However the older CEPA/CEPB iv known to run 750nm for over 10 years… I have been running MRC stage2+ on my CEPA 452bhp and 704nm for 7 years now with flat foot shifting
I have Daza for 4 years, run apr stg2 around 690nm without any issue, now I drive a dnwc 8y, i think it will be also under 700nm when ecu tune avaible without ecu hacking…

Die Serienpleuel sind ebenfalls geschmiedet. Das Material macht den Unterschied.
What’s the estimated cost of rods and installation roughly ?
Would be good to know!
It’s complete on total incl. Tax 9500.-€
My TTRS on a stock engine with a MRC tuning stage 2 package has the torque capped at 650nm . How far is safe on stock engine?

Some years ago all of the tuning companies made 7-750nm with stock daza dnwa engines, nowdays making 6-680, I think a lot of engines blew up.

@ Sounds like a plan 😎
