Criminals that hurt people don't even get much if any jail time nowadays. Imagine how hard it is to prosecute animal abuse.
@@sbffsbrarbrr In Illinois, it is now a felony to commit animal cruelty. Thanks for a wonderful states attorney. He was very active an animal rights and a very vocal spokesperson from the rescue that I was fostering with at the time. We had a very cruel case come in that highlighted, the need for stronger penalties for animal cruelty. Thanks to the new law, this person that abused an animal absolutely horribly is now serving a significant amount of jail time. And I’m hoping he’s getting treated like pedophiles do in prison. It would be justified if someone shoved him while in jail. Fortunately, the dog did eventually recover physically but needed a lot of psychological care and special foster placement, where he’ll live out the remainder of his life there. I had to take a fostering break because of health issues and just resumed fostering again this year. And foster failed for the first time. Something I said I’d never do.

Honestly I feel prison is too good for people like that.

In the society we living in it is no surprise!!! Look what our children's have being teach. To be selfish, ungrateful, demanding, to be total idiot, and care only about money no matter the cost. There is no place for compassion in there hearth hey they do not have a hearth! We need to re-educate our children and be less absorbed by our-self spend time with them and teach them how to be a human.

That is a very beautiful puppers. To go from tail completely tucked, to tail up, and running around with toys, it shows how quickly dogs can turn around their perspective on life.

I seriously don’t understand how anyone can abandon such a beautiful girl like that, it’s so cruel. Why not drop them off at a shelter? Why leave them at the side of the highway? Thank God there are still good people out there like this woman. I wish this beautiful girl gets a happy forever home 💗🙏🏼
These dogs are so mistreated by humans, it's disgusting. But good people like Natalie and Donna are out there every day, working to make it better. It almost makes me tear up. They're amazing and inspiring.

People who abandon animals are known as psychopaths. Also known as sociopaths. A form of mental illness that is almost impossible to treat. They cannot identify with humans or animals and what they are going through. More men have this illness and many psychologists will not attempt to treat them as their mental illness is virtually impossible to treat.

She didn’t display hesitation so she wanted to be saved. Judging by her condition, she looked weak and probably didn’t want to walk up the hill. I’m so happy she was saved and I’m sure she’ll find her forever home soon enough.

As soon as I hear "Do you wanna go bye bye?" even if I haven't read the Titles I know it is Donna from Stray Rescue of St Louis and that things will be OK for that particular dog. She is amazing.

I absolutely cannot fathom how anyone could ever just abandon any animal anywhere ever ever! it just astonishes me and breaks my heart at the same time. Thank God for those who step in on the behalf of those poor animal souls who deserve so much more than anything of the sort. there is never a good enough reason to simply just up and abandon any living being NEVER EVER !!! especially on the side of a road. Whether she was hot, tired, hungry, frightened, depressed or all of the above, she needed help and you two, alone, cared enough to stop for her, feed and water her, spend time, effort and money on her and to see to her being fostered. Yours was no small feat. But that more Humans cared enough to help those vulnerable, our world would know a massive healing. Blessings.
Plz seriously consider adopting, fostering, volunteering or donating to animal shelters. They do much needed life-saving work but this is a critical time now since they're overflowing and need help from us viewers to save animals in need. Every cent to these animals is a matter of life and death. I donate a little every month to shelters since I choose life for these animals and hope you do too.
Until punishment and fines are increased against animal abuse and neglect, the issue will never change.🤔
