Frank, Thanks for 2018 Accord alternator replace. You the man! BUT, the aluminum engine mount will not come off. See 7 minutes 55 seconds. That pointed bolt is binding on the aluminum bracket. What should I do?
Oh that’s try sum heat or lubercation under it but it prolly wount help this is an issue

From the bottom u can reach the bolts but u can see it’s feel and touch I find this bullshit design tomorrow I’m doing turbo on one of these FML idk y I accepted it with bad back

I have a 1997 Toyota Corolla with 200,000 miles still has the original alternator.These car parts today are all crap weather the car is foreign or domestic they’re all built with crappy parts,so that you have to keep bringing it to the stealer for repairs.
Now days parts r garbage I though about quitting mechanic just because I had 4 alternator failed 10 starters put in sensor bad. Put in maf sensor told customer bad engine and new engine didn’t start now I o for engine and it was defective maf sensor
The mount or bracket doesn't have to be removed
James mine is 2018 Accord 2.0T. The alternator is not in front. Go to about 8 minute mark. You have to take engine mount off.
You stripped that bolt on the engine mount, that is some crappy work!

Yeah bro but I can do it urself I did this way cuz I wanted to first time but u can feel the bolts from bottom not need to take off mount and all as long as u can feel the bolts and get to it
Is it possible to replace the alternator on a Honda Accord underneath the car instead of from the top?
U can work the bolts from bottom both bolts and then tilt the alternator to remove wiring connector and 12mm main bolt but it has to come up
But I found removing mount made it easy very easy for me I didn’t mind 10 minutes to take out the mihnt
I put a 290A alternator but the voltage don't stay at 14.4
@@NoName-gk2sj what’s the voltage these are smart charming systems so it don’t always require 14 put ac on full blast radio on light on wiper on and check voltage should stay 14 if not then issue

@@RBTheMechanicwhat about at 33k? I have a2019 Honda accord and it stopped starting, lost all power. I replaced the battery and it still won’t start. I had to jump it to get power going and when I try to start the car it just whines
