Cheers, mate. One thing to note is if you have games installed... just uninstall them before you try and do the transfer. Nix all the games in the /app/ folder if you can, but even just deleting from the live area will make your transfer so much faster! You'll hafta reinstall them, but that's a small price to pay to get the transfer done quicker, at least for me.

I opened h-encore2 and re-installed henkaku and Vitashell, but I can use them, it says that those apps are corrupted. How can I revert the actions and make my PS Vita memory card the main one again? I can't delete a thing because of this.
Did you find a fix for this? Having the same issue
One of the only people to watch your videos seconds after upload. Love your vids
Thanks!
Can you still take out your memory card and instal regular game cards, or is there something needed to be done.
Gita Gribuste you can XD
Gita Gribuste but you need the app that moves ux0 to uma and viceversa , and you can chage the options for usb on game gard in vitashell
i just did it today and the tutorial worked like a charm :)
but for anyone using win32 disk imager and you see that your usb drives/sd card aren't popping up, just keep on restarting the app, had to restart 4-5 times in order for it to pop up.
Thank you so much for this guide. So simple and everything works amazingly!

I swear each one of your ps4 vita video bring me back to older videos every time hahaha
Has no one ever thought about replacing the memory card slot with an actual MicroSD card slot? The Vita can already format the memory card so why not just replace the slot so I can format the MicroSD card
"just replace the memory card slot" haha i think that would be alot more difficult to do that you may think. and why bother when this method works so easily with no need for fucking with the hardware.
Hardmoding doesn't always work out?
@@Matanumi yeah fair enough, it was just personally (at the time I posted it) I didn’t think there’s was a point to jailbreaking the vita, when the only problem I saw was the memory card
If your computer is still showing the vita memory size then go into vitashell and press start. Then change the usb device to sd2vita. Your computer should now see (after you connect it to one) the new size.
Hello, I am stuck on the SD card imaging portion, everytime I click Write it gives me an error 1117, stating it could not be performed due to an I/O device error, is there any way to rectify this issue??
found the solution?
@@onlyronn7152 yeah I worked after I retried it
If you're getting error 5 in Win32 Disk Imager then try it on a different PC if you can. I was trying to fix it for 5-6 hours to no avail. Appearently it's some sort of windows issue that doesn't let you write to a removable. So if you can, try a different pc or a fresh install of Windows, that worked for me.
Hey, I have a question.
I saw a Memory card adapter that goes into the Memory Card slot, do I still need to hack it if I use it?
Does it go into the game card slot? If so yes u need to hack your sysyem to use it
@@TechSavvyBuyer So if I were to use a micro SD adapter that goes into the SD card slot I dont have to hack?
Thanks man :D
Wow, this is in incredible, works like a charm. Thanks a lot, your guides are always easy to follow.
can i use any sd card adapter to microsd
After I installed this, when I go to the store to download I get "failed to install (name of game) sceloOpen(ux0:bgdl/temp.dat) failed:0x80010002" any help? Loving your videos so far, everything else has worked like a charm

Great videos on how to mod a ps vita. These have helped me in my endeavours on downgrading and getting sd2 vita working. After lots of trial and error, I finally got it fully working but forgot to activate my device as a primary device. It’s about 1:20am in the morning as I am typing this and I have decided to just deal with modding 3.74. I will try again later this summer. Thanks.

everytime i install the autoplugin.apk, load up encore, then check back at my vitashell its still the same smaller memory. im on 3.65 and installing the 3.65 autoplugin. please help!!!
Yet another solid tutorial, cant wait to finally get some games on this beast. Cheers for the help!
Does this work on 3.70? I tried it and it won't recognize the sd
It will not he said dude

subbed! thank you so much for all these tutorials, i'm so excited to download all these game 😭😭😭❤️
Im still waiting for a sd card adapter that fits in the sd card slot.
Not gonna happen dude
It's impossible
The problem is that a standard microsd card is bigger than a psvita memory card
@@googas1 The PSVita memory card is fractionally bigger, but there's no "spare" room to add anything that physically reroutes the traces even if that was possible (which it isn't anyway).
So far the best tutorial on youtube for sd2vita, thank you!
i tried to do this now i cant get back into vitashell
Awesome video! easy to understand instructions, and I also used your other video for permanently modding my Vita, and did it in 1 try!

Im guessing ive got to mod the ps tv unit first?
Cheers clive

I'm in business, my friend. Idk if they're popular but I had the exact same SD and adapter as you. That Samsung 128GB SD card is $19 right now on Amazon.
Hello Tech Savvy Buyer, very great video! Thank you very much for the video! I have a question. After having installed the SD2VITA, can I remove my sony memory card 4GB or must I keep it in and use them both? Thanks in advance!
Old video but still works! Saved me a absolute headache. :)
Do I have to use that exact adapter or
can I use another brand of an micro sd card adapter that I already own? Thanks for the guide!
This with your other tutorials are the easiest and the best on you tube, thank you
Would you need to change back and forth between the original sony memory card and the SD2Vita if you want to use your current PSN games library? I currently have three sony memory cards and switch between them to play certain games from my library, how would this work once I install SD2Vita? will I still be able to do so?
Your PSVita tutorial are awesome, BTW!
Thank you for this video...now i can use my ps vita now with large storage...its very helpfull...😍😍
Great video. Modded my Vita yesterday and got some things I wanted up and running. One question though, after Iv'e set up my micro sd card can I erase the stuff on the official sony memory card for more space?
A little confused at 8:35. I'm using the newer model of the psvita, so what do I have to change?
Once again I have to comment: Thank you! It worked like a charm!
Hey i saw you just commented this. Im going to be doing this tomorrow, looks like some files have updated versions like the auto plugin. All went well yeah? just making sure i have a good guide that is still relevant. Thanks.
@@Master_Psyper yep! Everything still worked just like the guide. I didn’t have any issues.

Thanks bro! Great help, i tried other tutorial videos but i can't see my sd2vita on vitashell but when i tried your video i can see it now on vitashell. KEEP IT UP!
dear ammad, what autoplugin version should i install since there are newer versions autoplugin. would this tutorial still be ok to use for a 3.67 cfw without enso?
to follow?
I would like thank you for your help, your videos are so clear and easy to follow. Keep up the good work
Cheers, mate.
After Completing the process in Autoplugin it didn't ask me to restart .No worries I forced restart and seems it worked , my storage in settings is 238GB of my 256 SD Card ., Thank you very much . Now i have over 300GB in storage including my secondary PS Vita card.
Hey man love your videos, tbh I bought the blue one from Japan literally a few days ago after watching the videos on your channel. Does it matter if I get a 5.0 or 6.0 adapter? Wasn’t sure if it made a difference
Thanks dude! Either adapter would be fine
Wow! Bro that was a quick as response! I was going to go off and wait for a few days lol thank you so much! appreciate you
For anyone who is having trouble adding new roms/iso via vita shell, remove the SD2VITA and upload games via a card adapter. For some reason any time I connect my vita up to my pc it shows only the umo (built in storage) and not the uxo (SD2VITA). Hope this helps!
ok so how do we fix this? this is the main use of vita shell.
SOLVED in Vitashell hit start and then change the usb device to sd2vita
sweet thanks you really help me I waited 6 months or longer just to play Borderlands 2 on my ps vita... but its soooooo worth it
I currently only have a 32gb card for this, if I want to upgrade to a 128gb in the future do i just format it and copy all the files over or do I need to do anything more in depth?
I watched a load of videos on how to do this and the only method that worked for me is yours! Any chance at all that you could do a video on how to upgrade the storage? I've got a 64GB card in the vita at the moment but just bought a 128GB. Awesome video dude!!
Hey awesome video super excited for the results on my vita I downloaded the 3.85 autoplugin there was a higher one at 4.14 but I went with the 3.85, my question is do I have to downgrade my firmware if I'm just wanting the SD card hack or can it stay at 3.73 thanks for all your help
Thank you so much! very easy installation steps keep up the good work my brotha!
If you can't see all your files in your Vita when copying over to MicroSD, you need to go to Options > View > Advanced Settings
You need to UNCHECK "Hide protected operating system files"
If you don't, you WILL get the "Corrupt file" error down the line. This is an important step and I can't believe you didn't include this in the tutorial OR the fix!!
Thank you for your post - this is great! I have PSV 2000 3.73: question: it looks like I didn't copy all the files just like DavidVsNorm and now I can't run, uninstall, reinstall VitaShell to copy system files from my Vita. Would it be OK to restore it to factory settings and start this over? What do you think?
Hey man! Love the tutorials! :D Could you also make like your top Vita games to play? I know there are tons out there, but I would prefer yours.
For sure! Will make something soon.

Even after I install sd2vita and insert the card, I open vitashell and nothing has changed. My uxO is still the memory card and my umaO is not even present. I have done every step correctly and on autoplugin, it says for the sd2vita configuration that my sd2vita is set to uxO and my memory card is set to umaO but it is not working.
