I’m not gonna lie. I bought a left over 2019 Panigale 959 this past May.y kick stand was faulty after only a couple rides. I literally almost dropped the bike. Then the seal went on my steering dampener just a few weeks ago and I’m going to have to take it to the dealership. It’s covered under my warranty but unfortunately I’ve had to experience some of what u were taking about in this video. I love my bike, it’s the sexiest bike I’ve owned in my short time riding but I’m questioning if I’m going to keep it.

Ducati is an exotic brand. If you want the performance, the Italian style and the latest tech, it's going to cost you. No different than a Ferrari. But to some people that pride of ownership is worth it. Having a good dealer around is important though.

I think as a rule, things should only be expensive because the quality is great. The name becomes expensive because the product justifies it. If the quality sucks, then it shouldn’t be so expensive. Rich or not, if you’re not getting your money’s worth, it’s crap.

I'll be honest if you buy an Italian super bike you need to accept that you'll have some minor issues from time to time. But I've had my 2018 959 for a little over 2.5 years 10,000+ miles and I've had no real issues. It's still the coolest thing I've ever owned and I look back at it every single time I leave it in a parking lot.

Well... I've owned a streetfighter v4 SP and i can tell you is the best machine ever, for 1 year and 10k miles no issues. Now looking forward to get a multistrada v4 rally too. But as top performance, i have learned you have to be very careful with maintenance, use the best fluids, screws to specified torque specs, and so on.. just look it as a beautiful expensive woman, have to take care of her, but will enjoy the ride! 😅

08 1098s owner. Owned it for 1 year, since day one of ownership, nothing but problems. First day owning it, gear selector retention spring broke, shortly followed by a faulty voltage regulator and battery. Needed to buy specialty tools just for chain adjustment. Wonderful bike when it's running right, and I can really appreciate the Italian stallion when operating at full potential.

@@ihateeverything3972 I don’t actually have seen a ton of his stuff and mostly good but there are some interesting inconsistencies between his videos.
The Poser vid he talked about quality miles over quantity but is worried about getting parts again low miles.
He was begging Ducati to make a V4 street fighter then when it happened didn’t want it because of Carlin Dunn.
He wouldn’t put a exhaust system on his Aprilia (and sold it because he got a speeding ticket) but immediately puts one on his MT09 then puts it up for sale to get a year newer MT09 again.

Ducati is crap, just take a look at the engine test here in youtube “they find 50, 100 and even 150 micrometers particles inside their new engines “that includes all Panigales, naked bikes and even MotoGp engines! Only Ducati and chinese brands have those metal particles for normal use inside the engines.
That means his engines have bad quality and makes that 3 of 10 new bikes fail in the first year, the maximum size of particles inside japanese brand was of 30 micrometers.

Weird how that works sometimes. They must have issues with quality control. Italians of course, have a much different view about work than Americans. Work is a part of life for them, not instead of life like us. I also have an old 89 KZ1000P that stays in various states of repair. It still runs despite having almost 90,000 miles on it.

What trailblazing? Too much focus on form over function. They cant even decide on what works for them. Desmo or Granturismo, V2 or V4, Trellis or Perimeter. Their bikes only make good power at higher compression ratios and RPMs which compromises reliability. The Japanese found the winning formula decades ago and have pretty much stuck to it. Revzilla just demonstrated how a 15 year GSXR beat the crap out of a $30k V4S.
