Season 2 was still solid, except the whole debate about whether it’s right to kill isn’t done justice because the criminal are given absolutely no character development/depth at all. I mean that’s a problem with the whole Punisher thing. You seriously think after all that time Frank wouldn’t have accidentally killed someone innocent, or someone being forced to do something they don’t want to? And the one time they introduce collateral damage they reverse it like half an hour later (it was all Jigsaws plan). Season 2 of daredevil had its flaws but it was nowhere neat as atrocious as punisher season 2.
Fisk cruelty stems from his anger towards his father. Its like he is constantly trying to prove he is no longer afraid when deep down he still is. Therefore he seeks to "improve" the city to justify not realizing that he is thinking like his father.
