Season 2 was still solid, except the whole debate about whether it’s right to kill isn’t done justice because the criminal are given absolutely no character development/depth at all.
I mean that’s a problem with the whole Punisher thing. You seriously think after all that time Frank wouldn’t have accidentally killed someone innocent, or someone being forced to do something they don’t want to?
And the one time they introduce collateral damage they reverse it like half an hour later (it was all Jigsaws plan).
Season 2 of daredevil had its flaws but it was nowhere neat as atrocious as punisher season 2.

Wilson, I think, turned out to be a lot more like his father than he ever intended. I think the only true difference was that when it came to people he actually cared about, like Vanessa, Wesley, or his mother, Fisk was capable of being very kind and generous --- and even vulnerable at times. But he was also a brutal and emotionally unstable person who used fear to control those he believed to be weaker than him. He rationalized it by saying he was just trying to make the city a better place, but at the end of the day, I think he just liked having everyone under his thumb.

I wish my father was like that. That's the only reasonable thing to do with bullies or even potential bullies. I know that Hollywood is always framing this as a bad or immoral behaviour, to not disgust the audience. They're always preaching to turn the other cheek. But the real world is just different. He should have kicked him harder.

How is he right? You don't have to become a needless tyrant to not let others keep you down, you separate your self from them and rise above them. To be man you take no shit, not needlessly dish it out. A man would never teach or want his kid to act this way, its not push over or tyrant not everything's black and white.

@@DrSeuss-nw3px No I agree with you through and through, I'm sorry if my delivery came across as arrogant. Everything you've said is true, people are horrible, inward and only empathetic when it suits them and no matter how good a life you live people will always try and shit on you. No one should ever have to turn the other cheek or put up with that sort of treatment. If someone gives you no choice you have to be ruthless with your actions because hesitation and emphathy for those that mean you harm can get you killed. I just meant becoming evil to beat evil isn't a necessesity and everyone just has to find their own sweet spot. I was also bullied horribly growing up by a lot of my peers for being myself so I get where you're coming from and respect your opinion.
