Yeah. I’m going to OU for law school and came home for OU TX weekend to Austin. Showed up decked out for the Sooners and actually had to leave the party early after Texas scored its FG because things were getting rowdy (it was an engagement party, but the bride is from UT so obviously showing up supporting the Sooners at her party was crazy lol). Ended up watching the game end at home and glad I did because apparently people were screaming over the PI call. 🤣
I did show up to the bridal ceremony later and gave a quick boomer sooner.

What a great game! Much respect to the Texas Longhorns. I love this rivalry. Win or lose.
We waited a year to avenge our thrashing from last year’s 49-0 ahutout. OUr revenge was a great feeling. Just as great as the subsequent Texas wins after OU dominated in what is now referred to as the Red River Massacre in 2000 when OU won 63-14. That was, by the way, also a 49 point defeat. So we have both endured a serious butt whipping!
Hats off to both the Sooners and the Longhorns for giving fans another great rivalry game!

Texas, much respect to you. Ever since I was a little girl, I would get butterflies everytime we had to play you all. That was way back in the 60's. My dad, who played for OU before WWII, raised me on Sooner Football, and we took this game so seriously. Mostly because you have always had great football. I wish I could have seen a better replay of the interference call. I know that Herbstreit said it was an excellent call. Our radio guy called it before the flag was thrown. In that vein, the personal foul that we got after a tackle was said to have been bogus. There wasn't good replay of it either, but our radio guy said the ref ran into an OU player and thought he was trying to fight. Who knows? My dad always use to say a game isn't won or lost on a call. Who is to say the opponent or your own guy would be stopped or helped either way. I really think we will see you down the road in the Big 12 Championship game. I hope y'all stay healthy and continue to play great football!

The db was obstructing the wr’s path to the ball for a good ten yards and in the process pushed him so far from the path of the ball that it looked uncatchable, but it certainly was a catchable ball for a wr of his stature/ability and a good number of other wr’s at this level would make that catch too.

According to the rule book Defensive Pass Interference: Restricts Movement: Restricts the receiver's movement without making an attempt to catch, intercept, or bat the ball, regardless of whether the ball is catchable. He needs to say he's sorry.

BTW #93 of Texas jumped on the goal line stand and the officials missed the motion penalty.

“Aided by an absolutely awful call”. Bro that accounted for 15 yards of a 75 yard touchdown drive in 1 minute with zero timeouts. Texas just got beat plain and simple.

The ball was only uncatchable b/c the TX defender pushed the OU player 2 yards out of bounds. It's announcers like this that spread false information that their fans use to be annoying reality deniers for a lifetime.

That pass was 100% catchable it wasn't more than 8 feet off the ground when it crossed the sideline and the reciever could have easily got to it if he wasn't getting molested down the sideline. Typical Texas... I love hearing the disappointment from tge shorthorns though. It's a beautiful sound.

The week after this game...both teams had a hangover....Texas winning a CLOSE ONE against Houston and Oklahoma winning a VERY close one against Central Florida.

Oh and one more thing. Defensive hold is an infraction prior to advancement. Interference is after ball passes line of scrimmage.

It just looked like Oklahoma was a little better all day. And now I think Oklahoma has reached a familiar level, of look out here we come all the way.

@6:58 the WR was trying to cut back in but was being pushed out. Besides this call wouldn’t matter that last play would have been a TD from any spot on the field.

Can’t be defensive hold if the ball is on the way to the receiver. It changes from holding to pass interference once the ball is on the way

"Uncatchable pass" LMAO! Perfectly thrown ball outside shoulder if he didnt get manhandled out of bounds. Even UT radio guys are soft in the head.

WAY NO-WAY. If you have had time to review your initial call on the no PI call and still have the same viewpoint you need to excuse yourself from your play-by-play gig.

It was pass interference because the DB pushed the receiver out of bounds. Had nothing to do with the pass being catchable or not. Craig Way, please.....
