Steelhead aren't even native to Michigan planted from california in the late 1800s but good try. We have true steelhead in our blood on the west coast. 👍😉👍

Best video ever! I’m in love w Ash (Sub’d her channel!) you guys, the pup, and definitely the Olympic Rain Forest! My wife dragged me up (yep, Twilight) years ago from Georgia and now we go yearly! She’s an airline pilot so we fly for free all over the world and hands down, it’s our favorite place on this planet! God created something special up there!!
I've lived on the Olympic Peninsula my whole life. The Saltwater fishing is so good with the Salmon, Lingcod, Crab and Halibut I have never even tried river fishing... I think thats gonna change.
I grew up in the Hoh rain forest you guys did a good job of capturing the beauty of that area. Although that type of day is rare normally you have more rain and higher water. Thank you for sharing the experience.

Takes me back to trout fishing the upper Kenai in AK and hooking 25-35lb salmon on micro light gear. Forget reeling it up, you go down stream with the fish.
