Lovely gown! And Lovely working with cat shots! My current cat is not interested in sewing but my previous cat helped in the same way. I learned to be tidier sewer from it after he ate some metallic thread and required 40 stiches in his abdomen. I now am a very tidy crafter and pick up all my threads as I am working and lock away my bobbins....
Lovely to see your project manager particularly from 4:06. I have so many "I HALP" photos during my own projects 😆 It's always great to hear that a widely available pattern is historically adequate. This isn't a period I am particularly interested in, but I do love to see other people's FOs. Thank you!
I guessed right commenting on the short reel/story that you posted a little time ago that it is Ariel! I absolutely love all the details as well as the finished product and you look stunning in it! Keep up the good work. 😍
Hejsan svejsan! (From Sweden)! Love to se you work....and the end result is absolutely stunning! ❤ And ooh! How the heck do you manage to work on the floor like that without pinning stuff to the carpet?!?
I think I can confidantly say that IF the story of the Little Mermaid existed in the time your dress is set - some court lady WOULD have instructed her dressmaker to make her a gown very similar to yours.
The gown is gorgeous; just as a personal preference I think it would look even better with lighter, more natural-looking makeup. Butterscotch is epic! I love the way cats like to be part of whatever we do 😂

Appropriate music! What an involved gown--so beautiful. I'm glad you're still here. Butterscotch is a hoot!
The gown looks beautiful, Daisy! Thank you for sharing how to create the dress!
Wow! Amazing what you can make, be it with the help of Butterscotch. Much love! Wishing you a beautiful time with the holidays!

Thank you so much! 😊
Beautifully done! A dinglehopper/fork would have been fun in your hair.
Stunning dress! What fabric store in Canada were you talking about? I still have yet to visit west coast Canada despite living close to the border.

Beautiful dress. But have to admit, Butterscotch stole the scenes she was in! LOL
