    Aloha! Great video! Thanks so much for making it and sharing your insights! I have enjoyed watching it!
    I have made several wire harnesses after watching your videos. I found that using fine sandpaper to remove the wire’s lacquer coating has been most effective for me. I fold a small amount of the sandpaper in half and then put the wire between the two pieces. Running it through the sandpaper several times seems to work well.
    Thanks again!

      My pleasure, I appreciate your support and encouragement.. This is an idea I will definitely try - I have some stiff 1200grt too...🍻

    Prefer when you talk while soldering rather than the canned music….you are the Bob Ross of RC!

      I debated a voice over during the process, thought I'd try the music thing. Honestly, showing the solder work was a last second edit change. I had everything edited and ready to upload to the channel and chucked it in the trash. I'm glad I did (instead of explaining on paper).. I appreciate your support and kind words - I'm a Bob Ross fan 4shO...🍻

    Nice tutorial...and thank you for showing the soldering on the LED especially. Im curious to know if magnet wires from say a broken 0802 whoop motor could be used in a project like this to save a little bit of money, or if 0802 motor magnet wire is too thick of a gauge (i suspect it is but ive yet to find an example motor spec from like happymodel or newbeedrone that lists the gauge magnet wire used). I have a few busted 0802 and I've had success peeling off some 0802 magnet wire to use for rx antenna on an AIO FC in a pinch. Lastly, what temp did you have the solder iron set to ? I assume something not super hot for those small components, but im curious. 0.4g is pretty reasonable to add that LED enhancement, nicely done!

      My pleasure, and I appreciate your feedback. The magnet wire I use is 30awg, mainly due to my ability to see it, lol.. You can go thicker or thinner (barely any current flow).. If you can scab old enamel wire, more power to ya. As long as the enamel coating is good. The temperature I use is 230°C.. I have a video "How to Flow Solder" in my QuickTips Playlist if you're interested in learning more of my techniques. Absolutely Agree! 0.4g is totally worth having spectators see ya rip, lol...🍻

    you cant run them both through 1 resistor?

    • @propsoff
      @propsoff  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's not recommended to run 1206 LEDs off the same resistor. I did run 2 off one resistor on my UWL build. However, the brightness was affected. More than two, you risk burning one or one, not even lighting up. I looked for an interesting article that explains this in more detail but couldn't find it off hand - I'll attach it when found..
