It's generally when the lighting doesn't work right. The inside of the mouth should be dark but isn't. I'm not sure I would have bought these, they don't seem like a major upgrade. But I got them in the True Colours deluxe pack. I guess I will replay :)
Lipsync is still horrible tho. To be frank the original game still looks good before the remaster, it has a certain aesthetic charm to it. The game just need to fix the lipsync issue.
@@txgoldrush aaaactually, they did mocap scenes in the original release, there are even videos of those sessions online, the only non-mocap stuff is when you have those static talks with dialog options, the game just cycles through random animation assets there (hence why everyone does the wipe-hair-away or neck-touch thing)
I know this is me just being a nitpick but the overuse of the vignette effect is killing me. Those parts of the background arent supposed to be deep blacks esp in daylight scenes

Would the visuals differentiate based on what you’re playing on? For instance, would my Series X preform better than my PS5? For its art style I don’t think so but if anyone does let me know.

Damn, Joyce lookin good. The eyes look amazing, but there's still a lot of stiffness in facial animations ( like Chloe at 2:23 ) which were covered up with the low-poly artstyle of the original but are glaringly obvious now. I still love it, I'm going to play the crap out of it, but I dunno...I sorta expected more. : /
I have no idea if the dialogues are different but it FEELS like it and I bet it changed. Heard that was one of the complaints about the game, the corny dialogue but in my opinion it had a special place in my heart 😋
The dialogue hasn't changed, it's just *very* different depending on your choices. You'd be surprised how different the conversations are if you make sightly different decisions

The decision options are the same but the mood can be totally different, I love it so much. Even small things like what phone background Chloe has and the items in her room change. Very unlike Telltale games, as great as many of them are
@@Truffalot yea I can't wait to get the game for myself I played the free chapter 1 recently even though I played conservatively and took the game at a slow pace I still cleared the first chapter way faster than I wanted to. I wanted to buy the original of both games and had the money but I wanted the physical versions and the stores near me did not have them sadly.

Why is there so many people defending David Madsen? He was physically, emotionally and verbally abusive to Chloe and he bullied Kate Marsh and spied on people, not to mention the fact that he hit Chloe.
0:22 weird lighting on max's hair. and chloe's left arm is really weird. that's a bummer. 0:27 Joyce's chin has weird lighting. and David's radio and nameplate is too shiny. 0:32 what's wrong about the shining curtains 0:47 dust particles are so bright. 2:06 David's left ear lighting is weird. although face expression and lip-sync is really good.
Liking the facial animation upgrades, but the 'color grade' feels weird? If the OG version looked like cinema, this feels like TV, if that makes sense..
Tbh i don't think u got it right i watch a lot of movies that comes from the cinema they always look darker and more dramatic like this trailer if anything the cinema ones look brighter than I like so I think personally you got it the other way around just sayin...

Wow...Hannah Telle is really helped by the animation upgrade. While Burch and Cissy are the big names here, it was Telle that brought LIS to life.

When I first played this game, I felt guilty for siding with Chloe. After I was done with the game, I DEFINITELY felt guilty for it.
