Winter storm to wallop New York area with up to a foot of snow, raging winds | NBC New York

The tri-state area is performing for what will be the first significant winter storm in two years for area north and west of New York City. Storm Team 4's Dave Price and Violeta Yas take us through the latest forecast while News 4's Marc Santia shows us the preparation going on in New Jersey for the wintry weather.

I live in Michigan, it's like somebody picked up the weather pattern, picked it up right off the map and moved it over 5 in, these are the storms that we used to get. It's over 30 all week, and we just came out of a 50s week. This is crazy😮😮😮

totally true. watch a hurricane report in texas.... reporter out in 'dangerous winds' .... has to find a trash can blow over to find some event to report on..... weather has even become politicized. The end is near
