I love the video. Next time could you have the camera pan to the display so we could see what it shows when you move from one color to the next or one step to another? Thanks.

Thank you so much for the instructions, everything was great! I watched it through just to get a feel for the steps but I think I can jump right into this project and get it done.

I was hoping you would have new tutorials on the machine. Including how to download files to computer , then to usb stick and how to upload to 500e.

Shannon, you did a great job. I am a complete novice as I bought my Janome Skyline S9 just a few months ago. I have been avoiding the embroidery function as I am more than a little intimidated. Your instruction was so helpful, however I do not know what SF101 is. I know about Heat-n-Bond. Is the first stabilizer in the hoop SF101 or was it a cut away. I would love to see much more from you about various styles, lace, red work, and more applique. To watch more of your videos do I turn into TH-cam with "Janome Junkies" or "Hoopin it with Shannon"? Thank you for your thoughtful video.

Thank you for watching and welcome to our channel. We have a lot of embroidery projects lined up for you, so don't forget to subscribe to Janome Junkies and Juki Junkies channels to stay updated. I'd like to recommend a fusible interfacing, SF101, which I use for applique. It's a great way to add stability and prevent puckering. Thanks again for your questions and feedback.

Great job on the video. It was easy to follow and stop and replay. A few questions. What bobbin thread did you use? Or did you use prewound bobbins. I got my first mug rug done, but have some areas of white thread or stabilizer or something showing up against the edges of the red stitching on the watermelon slices. I wonder if it's because I used glide in the bobbin. I did change to the high tension bobbin holder. Also, I suppose it could be the needle. I just used what came with my machine. It's brand new and so is my embroidery experience. Thanks again.

Hello Linda - I used the Janome Pre Wound Bobbins. You may need to check your tension if you are getting white along the edges. And yes make sure you are using a larger eye needle with the dense pattern-like a 90/14. Thanks for watching.

I’m still figuring this out. I’m not sure I’m being prompted for placement stitches? Help

The design does include placement stitches - make sure you download the instructions - as they are indicated in each step. Call with questions, Thanks Stacey!!!
