Wow! Thanks for such a great, informative video. I've had my Skyline S9 for 3 years now. I look forward to the other videos you are talking about...especially the embroidery features. I've always been a bit apprehensive when it comes to doing some of the wonderful things this beautiful machine is capable of. Your video came up as a "suggested" video and I'm so glad it did. I'll be checking out your other videos and subscribing, too! Thanks again!
Thank you for this overview. I have had my S9 for a couple years but Covid kept me from getting a free class on the machine. It's always good to review.
I sew a lot of shirts and have a regular Janome, the feed dogs are metal, but the feet are plastic, which I have noticed, causes the material to stretch. It is nice to know Janome has solved the problem with a new foot.
I have the machine but not alot of experience with her, I was forced to move and had her in storage. I found her and brought her home but realized all my little extra "do-das" are still in storage including the hoops. But I do plan on watching your videos to become more familiar with what she can do and refresh my brain why she is the embroidery/sewing machine I wanted to get.
Hello! Thanks so much for your videos! I am using them to learn my machine. One thing I can't seem to find an answer to that you mentioned in this video is how to do letters/words using the smallest free arm hoop. I would love to put a small name on a baby bib, but when I try to do that it only wants me to use the two larger hoops.
The button to use embroidery arm does not work. I can not swing it in or open? When I put the embroidery attachment on and try to use it, it sounds like a woodpecker. Can you help me? I bought my machine in August then the dealer retired. I do not have any help. I have studied the manual.
Aha! Boki! I first thought this was a copycat TH-camrs with the name JanomeJunkies like the JukiJunkies 😂😂 thankfully I click on it and it is YOU!! Now I can do my research confidently. I only trust your review!
Its not like this in person (In person its clear with no flashing) . Its because the frames the phone records in is faster than the frames the screen is. Its a tech thing haha
I got one at sewing shop it’s been 3 years and still Noone to help me with uploading embroidery designs I bought I got WiFi cant figure out how to use with my IPad. No one to show me how to use with I pad
I have had my s9 2 years and no one where I bought it can show me how to use the embroidery apps or upload a embroidery pattern I bought. It’s aggravating I did not know about the magnets.
Bought this machine noone can tell me how how to download embroidery patterns patterns I bought on line so I wasted my money. Plus cant figure out why Im having trouble with fabric Feeding and yes the feed dogs are up.
I was urged to buy this machine by the only Janome dealer in my area.......I bought this machine, sight unseen, when I called him for some help, he said he knew nothing about the machine, he had never had this machine in his store......I was bacilly on my own!! Most of the embroidery designs you can buy now online are quiet larger than they used to be. The larger hoop for this machine, is slightly larger than my old machine!! I wish I now I had done more research before buying a new machine.........The Brother machine that cost about the same, was way better, the embroidery hoops did much larger designs, that goes long way when you're making quilts. Praising this machine for its sewing speed...Duh Having to attach an embroidery arm???? I have made an expensive MISTAKE!!
If you dealer sells you something and knows nothing about it and urges you to buy it.... You may need to rethink purchasing from them. I would ask for a refund and spend my money at a reputable dealer that offers support. We would never do that. This machine is very capable and has a lot to offer.
I’m with you! I can’t get anyone to help me at the dealer either. And so got it for all that was told to me it did with my I pad. Mine is 3 years old and have spent over $3000 in broken parts and service
