It was heartbreaking seeing your joy at Jonas and Martha's reunion. Oh how life changes us. Our protagonist becomes our antagonist. Speaking of him did you notice what Adam said? "You can save her, or stop me." Who is he talking to? Seems like Jonas right? Yet Jonas cannot save Martha. There's nothing he can do. She's gone. But Adam *is* talking to Jonas. But not this one. He is speaking of what Jonas can do 33 years later in his life. He is speaking of what the stranger can do. The stranger can stay with Martha in the bunker and make sure she never leaves. Or he can stop Adam. He can choose to stay by the house and await Adam and make sure he's dead. The stranger tries to do both. And so fails at both. I guess the whole thing about how men can't multitask is true even with time travel haha.
Without being spoilerish of season 3, later we found the letter was an instrument to assure marthas death, if stranger jonas didnt get it, there was no way he would have left the house until adam arrived. Why it was done ? Well because marthas death not only settled the first stone to his transformation into adam, but also gave our jonas a reason to travel with alternate martha. The latter event was crucial to the whole story for causality reasons.

Rewatches definitely has its rewards. I didn't realize that from the time that Jonas left his dad to hang himself that he was instructed for an entire year by Old Claudia until he met younger Claudia on the day she let her father die. An entire year passed. I'm going to need to find a timeline.

There are a few people in the bunker.. Katharina is going somewhere in the caves.. There are too many storylines and time periods now... Seriously, can't wait for S03😍😍
And that's why Elisabeth became so bitter. Her daughter went missing and her hunband went looking for, so she was left behind. And when Noah finally found the missing pages, he realized that Adam knew all along where Charlotte is and that he played his terrible game with Noah. The game of which Noah still doesn't understand how it's played.
A little tip: try to remember this scene when Noah tries to shoot Adam. At some point into season 3, you will see it in a new light :) It's nothing big but like so many other scenes you only understand what's happening after knowing the whole story. Dark is a show that needs to be rewatched completely at least once. BTW, I'm watching your reactions and left many comments in a hurry, so I've just realized I never properly said it's a pleasure to watch them :)

you missed the big reveal in the beginning The lady in the picture was Elisabeth herself But One thing I like about dark is that they don't reveal things in a "in your face manner", rather they slowly show us Easter eggs to figure it out before explicitly stating.
Cant believe you cut out my favorite monologe of this episode, the very first where noah talks to his younger version. "If you knew what i now know, then you would no longer do what you must so I can get to this moment. Me, as I stand here now, cannot exist if you dont take the same path as I did. We're not free in what we do, because we're not free in what we desire." This monologe basically sums all of Dark... Mark Waschke carries so much with his acting.. his voice has so much weight. Amazing Actor!

That ending to s2... called it way back in season 1. Especially with some 1953 and 1921 characters. Watching and being a fan of LOST just prepares you for all the stuff this show throws at you. This show really isn't that difficult 😂😅

Season 3 is great. Worthy end for a great series. I would like to see more, but it was probably a good decision to not drag it on too long and just keep it as cohesive piece of art from start to finish.
I prefer that a story is told and sticks to the main story line. It's annoying how some series drag on and on and only have 2 or 3 episodes about the main story line each season just so they can extend the length of the show.
