      @@МартинСтоев-д4м Thank you! I appreciate your feedback and support.
      It is my intent to respect the producer when it comes to playing their music. My role as a DJ is to discover the disparate creative voices and connect their artistic commonality without overcomplicating it in a mix by unnecessarily stacking frequencies on all channels, slamming faders, and egregiously twisting knobs all for the sake of validation.
      I believe that my experience has made me appreciate simplicity and embrace the beauty of it, giving me a better understanding of how to pursue my art with integrity, intent, and purpose.

      @@kuryenteproducer Hey I love your videos. As a beginner learning Traktor, I'd love to see a video series showing the progression from basic to advanced setups. Start by demonstrating mixing with just an X1 and Z1 controller, while explaining what limitations you encounter compared to larger setups. This would help beginners understand how to build up to and effectively use more complex configurations. Its just an idea but you cleary seem like a very knowledgble person so it would be really cool to learn all your skills.

      The MK3’s are a big improvement but I find the encoders tend to be slippy more than the MK2. Also, I’ve been using it standalone as an Ableton controller and it’s much more fluid as a performance tool than the A&H K2’s. Solid design and build overall.

      The “screen” that you see is a screen recording of the computer that I use to launch and operate Traktor and Ableton with. I render that recording, then scale and re-position it into the wide shot of the edit to make it seem like a physical monitor.

    Love the gear! Which FX unit do you prefer more? Eventide H9 or RMX1000?

      @kuryenteproducer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching! RMX1000 has its uses and is an excellent piece of kit, depending on the mixing style and genre. The H9 is a solid pedal and has some great tools for textural and granular type effects that can serve as layers in the mix. I typically use the Source Audio Nemesis and Ventris pedals for delay and reverb. For software FX routed in Ableton, I use Valhalla reverb and delay.

      I’ve considered a Neve Master Bus Compressor to pair with the XONE:96 or something comparable. It might seem excessive but keeping it analog definitely makes a difference because I hear it on the Model 1 recordings.
      At the moment, I record mixes into a Sound Devices MixPre 3 II and then bring a stereo mix into Cubase to process into mastering chain.

    • @kuryenteproducer
      @kuryenteproducer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@lumar_music I use the "transparent" limiter in Traktor. The Ozone limiter is great for live situations, specifically running hardware into Traktor, and I hear it giving a mix subtle saturation. But I lean toward the transparent setting for in studio work since it provides less color and more dynamics, which is useful especially when I bring a stereo mix into a DAW for mastering.

      As for maintaining sync across devices, I use a Blokas MIDI Hub. It’s a great box, highly programmable, and keeps sync tidy. I keep Traktor as my master, then link Ableton for FX and to trigger the TR-8S. I also set a MIDI trigger in Traktor to resync the downbeat via a Roland FC-300 MIDI foot controller or on the XONE K2.
