How can you always match the drops without using loops? Looks like you just know when to start a track in order to have matching drops, how does that work?
I downloaded some of this songs, but same as some of my other songs, the bpm keeps changing while I’m playing them, wich doesn’t help allot with the beatmatching. Any rekordbox feature to fix this, that I might be missing?
maybe you should check if the Analisys Mode in Settings is set up as Normal, cause if it's in Dynamic, it will keep changing the tempo as the beat is changing too, this is mostly used for tracks that aren't made in grids, such as bands, acoustics, etc 😉

Even within techno there is variety in both intensity and emotion. The problem with modern DJing is we see so little of this anymore. One techno DJ could be a million other ones..
And BTW... If average DJs attempt to incorporate this amount of technique into a live set they are 1,000% more likely to trainwreck (and an audience will definitely be aware of that).
If you're new and only planning to bedroom dj, ddj-fl4 controller, wanna do some gigs once in a while and future-proof yourself for the future? Go with XDJ-RR for your budget, you wont need a laptop for it, but if you strictly talkin about controllers then DDJ-800. That being said, i'd really look into Denon prime 2 (or 4 if u can spend more). But for pioneer and best practice for the dj gear you'll find in 90% of the clubs/events you'll play will be pioneer and DDJ-FL4 translates the best to the CDJ n mixer type of setup you'll find there. (or ddj-400, thats basically an older version of ddj-fl4 which is still really good and you'll find it even cheaper) But honestly if you're just starting, get DDJ-FL4 and move up from it when you're ready, it'll be perfect to learn how to mix properly, try to learn how to do it without sync button(just for the sake of learning a very good and handy skill that trains your musical ear too) you'll be set on mastering the foundation, plus you can get creative and midi map lots of stuff like CFX and so on.
Would have the same question i have £1k for a controller to perfect my mixing got speakers and headphones but I didn’t know what controller i need. I finished a beginner course and now i am doing almost finish the intermediate one and want to finish this year the advanced course but i need more practice and pgoing to studio to practice more would be crazily expensive in london.
East way to mix any genre Use the pitch fader only. Do not touch the jog wheel or sync/beat sync. Leave the Hi. mid, low all the way to the right. Slowly fade in an blemd the tracks for real. Never slam the faders all the way up. You will damage your mixer. A DJ who cannot mix will turn down the bass to mix tracks. Doing that means you suck. A person who can play will learn the right way and have a good record selection. Then that person will learn how to read a crowd. Bozak ARS 6, Bozak ISO X. CDJ 3000's plus a nice Danley sound system will be able to bless there guest. God Bless. DJ Maestro.
