Assassin Town existed Jon. It's real, up to a point - Masyaf is as real as the other cities in the game, and it WAS a stronghold of the historical Hashashin that the Assassins are partly based off, if condensed and fictionalised for game reasons. My screenname is a reference to a SECOND historical-Assassin stronghold, a castle in Iran called Alamut.
+pieoverlord If by Templars the game means the Knight's templar then very few of them would be French. The founding knight was French but they came to be in Jerusalem after the first crusade.
The templars were born out of the crusades at the temple of Solomon. Their members would grow to encompass all of Europe. Among their many accomplishments were secure banking and credit cards. Their infulence would continue to grow until a bankrupted french king would accuse them of being devil worshipers. History gets a bit fuzzy at this point, with rumors including the foundation of Switzerland, and their descendants guarding the Vatican. The further you go down that rabbit hole, the stranger it gets, which include tin hat conspiacy theory types claiming to be the Knights templar spirtual succusors. None of which really matters without proof of facts that can not be verifyed........pretty much like the whole of human history
42:05 I think you've misunderstood what the animus does: you are not exaclty reliving the story of your ancestors 1 : 1 but you're playing a simulation that lets you synchronize your memories. When you go to little cutscenes like that ones, you are synchronized and you see exactly what your ancestor did. This gimmick explains game mechanics that would otherwise not be explained by the simple fact that you're reliving memories when in fact you're not: you're just simulating them :~|
Jon! The Hidden Blade isn't a risk to cut off your finger, because as a test of commitment, every assassin must sacrifice his ring finger. Promising to never wear a wedding ring and be one with the creed. The blade slips past your former ring finger!
'They'll have no need of you if you smash up the machine.' I feel Jon and I have somewhat different thoughts on how desirable it is to outlive one's usefulness to an evil megacorperation
MATN did you not realize that the pick pocketing you did in Damascus was a part of the gathering information part? If I remember correctly you have 3 pieces of information to aquire but you need a minimum of 2, which is why you were allowed to go ahead with the assassination after eavesdropping.
I loved 2,but I really think Brotherhood just refined everything that made it good, but with fewer annoying stealth sections (also on a personal note I adore the city renovation and assassin recruits)
+Kat Summers Funny you should mention Dragon Age. I'm pretty sure I recognize the Assassin boss guy's voice as that of Duncan from Dragon Age: Origins.
Jon just to let you know that altairs hidden blade cannot go through his hand or fingers as he cut off his middle finger i think so it has a clear path no matter how the hand is bent also someone correct me if im wrong please :-)
+eric Devonshire He might be missing that middle finger, but if his wrist is bent at all the blade is still going to go through his hand. The only way it could be worn safely is far enough forward that it prevents the wrist from flexing, by which point it's really going to get in the way and limit your ability to use that hand for anything else. The hidden blade is cool, but I don't really see the point of it when a dagger could do the same things just as well, could be thrown aside immediately after the assassination so you don't have a gore-covered mechanical device strapped to your arm in plain view, and wouldn't require any fingers to be chopped off...
+eric Devonshire Oh all good mate, I wasn't trying to say you were wrong, was just throwing my two cents in. Ranting about this stuff is a bit of a passion for me. :)
The first game is very slow when it comes to combat. If you kept playing you would eventually come across a city that has a huge crowd climbing a hill that is extremely satisfying to run over with your horse. Also fighting with the hidden blade is better than fighting with the sword since landing any hit with it results in an instant kill. AC1 had a lot of problems and AC2 fixes most of them.
May I just point out how everything in the beginning of the game is all Malik's fault? If he didn't grab Altair's hand, Malik wouldn't become injured, the other assassin would have survived, the templar would be dead, and this mission would have been a stunning success? And he has the fucking nerve to blame ALtair?
Gaming One Oh One He didn't expect a subordinate to be a complete moron just before a fight and sabotage the mission. Malik's like "oooh don't compromise the brotherhood" - well if they killed the three templars there would be no witnesses and thus no compromising the brotherhood. I get Malik was upset when Altair killed the old man, but the templars were armed, enemies of the assassins, and definitely not innocent.
some protips: watch out guard can do slightly slower parkour if they have something like a crate or stairs so they can get near you but they cant climb walls also if you get to high they will start throwing stuff at you to make you fall you can insta kill people by throwing them into wooden scafoldings counter attack is OP as hell later in the game there will be archers on the roofs
+Kaid “Sheperd” Pain Unity's story was awful, but I do like how they made you rely on stealth more by making the combat harder, I thought that was a great feature to the series and wish they added it earlier when the series was still in its "youth"
3:20 or so That was absolutely hysterical. Another one of those 'I'm having trouble breathing because I'm laughing so much' moments. Ah, so you're just sampling each of the games. I thought you were going to be playing through a game in its entirety in a single day, which seemed a bit insane. How are you planning on keeping up with the plot in the rest of the game, or are you just going to jump into the next one and hope for the best? Thanks for the video!
31:00 I totally get what your saying, however if some in my country made my nation open to attack from an enemy, even if that is what he believes is right, he still openly put the innocent at risk. There is a reason Dante put traitors in the lowest circle of Hell.
He might be free to hold his beliefs and what not. But I mean the guy was a traitor and a double agent for the Templars, most people *would* rightfully kill him.
I support you on this nerd, i like the assassin creed series, and i think you shouldn't really care, just do what you want (even though these are probably already done recording)
God, seeing a person play AC for the first time is hilarious. I do think you're missing a huge chunk of background story (and gameplay) by only doing an hour of each game, but oh well. AC 1 does get repetitive after the first few missions, that was the only downside to it.
When you were wondering what would happen if you accidentally activated the hidden blade they couldn't hit their hand since they had their middle finger cut off.
MATN before you play number 2 you should do a video or just play the last mission (after you kill the templar dude you see at the beginning) the game at that point gets reaaaaaaally strange and begins to go in a wierd direction. i dont want to ruin it for anyone here as it is hard to explain it. anywho really love your videos! i started watching you through your first Ryse video. Keep up the good work and fun videos
The first AC was without doubt my favourite. Most of the later renditions spent more time on looking pretty than actually telling an involved storyline. Altair was almost the only really believable character. AC4 was quite good too, but apart from that... meh. The only good thing about Ezio is saying his name in full.
The first game was full of so much mystery, you were slowly uncovering and unpiecing a grand narrative. The later games progressively turned into standard action games with a tacked on sci-fi story. Not to say they're not good action games though.
I know I'm probably too late to say this, but how the assassination is carried out is actually down to the player. You can keep gathering more than the bare minimum information about the target to expand the options for assassinating him. Also, A hidden blade at an opportune time can complete the mission without you getting noticed. I'm positive that at least most of the 9 targets can be dealt with discretely. Also, If this wasn't your first play through, you'd know the game a bit better (no offence! You're probably better than I was first time ha) and therefore try experimenting with all the options available If you decide to play through it again, a few little things you might find interesting: You can walk around during the cut scenes/dialogue (you were standing still whenever somebody spoke to you so I'm guessing you didn't know) and when the weird glitch happens on screen during cutscenes if you press any button it will change the camera angle to give you a better view of the action. Thanks for all the videos you make :) Oh, and funny you should say about the hidden blade being potentially harmful to their hand...
To Matt: Masyaf is/was an actual fortress in Syria that the Hashashin occupied until they were dissolved. People are upset with Altair not because he tried to kill Robert but because he exposed the brotherhood in doing so.
It's pretty fun to do hidden blade only or short blade only runs. The game does get a little more varied, but monotony is definitely the biggest weakness of this game. And fleeing from combat did always seem more irritating than anything in this game.
nhe. unity was shit (not talking about glitches, i had very few and they were meningless). sydicate looks kind of cool i'll probably get it in some psn promotion.
So excited to see this week through! Are you playing the 2nd Italian one set in Rome? :D The recreation is pretty good I remember being impressed at the time.
I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. The older games are less sophisticated, particularly the first. That being said, I hope that you will eventually get deeper into and finish the older games, they generally have arcs designed to address the moral questions you were posing.
Just to let you know Altair is the most bad ass assassin ever one time he pull out a gun mid conversation mind you that it is like 1080 way before guns were a thing
2:24 technically you are correct but its much more complex than that. its never as fine brewed as that, think. can you remember your birth? most likely not. this is because to save space in our brain we delete parts of memories that are unimportant. this is what makes crime scene investigation so hard. to compensate when we want to know something, it will fill in the blanks with something that may well of happened. but in reality may of not. example; you have a friend that you see everyday. you dont see him one day. that is unimportant. so when someone asks you if you saw him every day that month you'd most likely say yes.
Jon: Why are the Templar's French? They were a multinational force of Knights. They had branches all throughout Europe and the Holy Land, so they would have had Brits, French, Spanish, Italians, Germans and others amongst their ranks. They were pretty widespread until Phillip IV of France crushed them in 1307.
They need to realize that making buggy games, with micro transactions might I add is unacceptable. Steam refund? On a pre-order? Ubisoft already got the numbers, statistically you've pre-ordered and purchased the game so they can pat themselves on the back. Mission successful, another buggy mess slipped through and everyone bought it before they even knew if it worked.
Ubisoft won't change their ways if consumers only think about themselves. Sure you get your money back, that's fantastic. But If more people pre-order a buggy mess Ubisoft won't try any harder next time to release a game that actually work. And that is *really* bad for you too my friend. That is why you shouldn't pre-order it. You just f*ck yourself and everyone else over.
+Jonathan Gréen I'll reiterate my point. I don't care... If it doesn't work, or isn't what I expected then I'll just get my money back. Just like you can do with any product. Stop trying to save the world.
I like this game and this series, so I am a bit defensive about it but I can't deny Jon criticism. Fun Fact: I remember when the syrian civil war started a news company used a image from this game to represent Damascus by accident...
I'm confused on how this playthrough is going to work. Is Jon going to just play an hour of each game for 5 days or is he going to continue these games in the future?
Wait what is this a touched up version or anything? It still looks quite good... I thought it'd look like a PS2 era game by now. I mean it's not splendid or anything but the game is....just over 9 years old. That's pretty damn impressive. It's a shame Ubisoft doesn't really attain this kind of quality now most of their games look really similar and haven't advanced all that much. Watch Dogs 2 is fairly nice I guess but all the colour kinda disguises the quality a bit.
I think Watch Dogs 2.0 is pretty much guaranteed. If it is better than 1 in the same way that Assassin's Creed was better the second time, it could be fun. Aiden need not return however...
Jon, u are a templar or an assassin. if you are one then your a mortal enemy of the other, so killing a deserter that would probably kill the assassins if given the chance it's kind of logical. it's not like he killed him because he liked bananas instead of Apples. one is trying to control the world (templars) the other is trying to prevent it (assassins) even thou their methods aren't very good.
+Bruno Ferreira After playing most of the franchise, I can't see much difference between these groups - they seem to use the same tactics, the same weapons, the same skillsets, and both spend their time chasing ancient technology... I feel like they could merge very easily... The only difference is the Templars want to use technology, the Assassins not, but given 99.9% of the games are chasing technology they haven't found yet, they just seem to act the same, hence why it's so easy to do the which-side-were-you-actually-on twist is so easy to do in the later games...
+Many A True Nerd There is very little difference between the pair in all honesty. When you get down to it however, the only major difference is you see what the templars stand for, where the assassin's main goal is to kill the templars. As to if they are justified or not is difficult to say. They are killing the Templers who's goal is unification through control, and you get into a situation that you yourself mentioned in other LP's; Where peace or safety comes at the cost of independence and free will, and where do you cross the line where you have struck too far in one direction? Now, obvious question that will eventually come up, is whether or not you will ever do a full game. I'm okay either way, I'm sure it will come up and I'm sure I already know the answer is "probably not, regardless of personal feelings towards the series both good and bad.", but it's good to have it affirmed regardless.
+QC_J Taking the events of Rogue into account (the ones that pushed Shay over the edge), and Haytham's reasoning in 3, I am a hardcore Templar. May the Father of Understanding guide us. Too bad Assassin's Creed focuses on total units sold rather than good story and interesting gameplay... Le sigh...
+Many A True Nerd The difference is more ends than it it means. The Templars want control, the Assassins want freedom. They then both go about it the same way. Murder and manipulation; Templars more manipulation, Assassins more murder . AC 2, which you may have played by now, goes into the concept that neither are the good guys, they both just want different things. If the Templars and Assassins wanted the same thing, they'd easily merge.
+John Angus Negative, he is given the apple right before Robert attacks the city. It is the artifact retrieved from Solomon's temple and he already knew if it's existence and some of its potential.
What you said about the hidden blade and how you'd stab yourself, no actually look at his hand witch the hidden blade comes out, his ring finger Was severed so that would never happen. This is even joked about in the second game where Leonardo says that it once required sacrifice of your ring finger but no longer.
+Jordan Boone If you do some research on the hidden blade, it has many issues besides the stabbing yourself... though that is still quite possible, even while missing a finger.
+Adam English Since the blade shoots out of where the the wrist up to where the finger is they sever it so that never happens, in not saying the hidden blade could exist (as in how does it trigger?) but you would not stab yourself because you'd obviously do as the characters do, which is flick your wrist back so It doesn't hit the palm
If there's anything that I've learned, MATN, it's that the majority of people who make comments on the AC series, whether they say something positive or negative, it's that they're all bloody nuts. There are really so many conflicting opinions out there that I really feel that a person who should just go ahead and give a game a go without listening to anyone. If you like the game, go ahead and continue. Play the Assassin's Creed games at your own whim and judge the series for YOURSELF. If you like the games you play during this week, you might want to consider playing the games that you're currently overlooking. Feel free to judge my own opinion as one of the nutters if you so wish, I'm a fan and that means there's bias. :)
Assassin Town existed Jon. It's real, up to a point - Masyaf is as real as the other cities in the game, and it WAS a stronghold of the historical Hashashin that the Assassins are partly based off, if condensed and fictionalised for game reasons. "Why are the Templars French!?"
Dammit Jon, you're supposed to know about this stuff.
+pieoverlord I think the Templars were from France, that's where they originated from, so that's why they have the French accent
+pieoverlord It's 9th President Abraham Jefferson's fault.
+pieoverlord If by Templars the game means the Knight's templar then very few of them would be French. The founding knight was French but they came to be in Jerusalem after the first crusade.

The further you go down that rabbit hole, the stranger it gets, which include tin hat conspiacy theory types claiming to be the Knights templar spirtual succusors. None of which really matters without proof of facts that can not be verifyed........pretty much like the whole of human history
"knife goes in neck; stabby, stabby, dead." - Jon 2015
42:05 I think you've misunderstood what the animus does: you are not exaclty reliving the story of your ancestors 1 : 1 but you're playing a simulation that lets you synchronize your memories. When you go to little cutscenes like that ones, you are synchronized and you see exactly what your ancestor did. This gimmick explains game mechanics that would otherwise not be explained by the simple fact that you're reliving memories when in fact you're not: you're just simulating them :~|
right because the animus actually has a logical consistency
Jon! The Hidden Blade isn't a risk to cut off your finger, because as a test of commitment, every assassin must sacrifice his ring finger. Promising to never wear a wedding ring and be one with the creed. The blade slips past your former ring finger!
dude this is my childhood. the nostalgia
6 years later and Jon is still amazing. Not even a die hard ac fan and he can point out the weirdness of sitting on a bench in all white robes
This is my favorite ac game. I'd love to see you finish it!
'They'll have no need of you if you smash up the machine.' I feel Jon and I have somewhat different thoughts on how desirable it is to outlive one's usefulness to an evil megacorperation
I must admit you are one of my favorite youtubers, you always have so much fun when you're playing and I love it ^-^
MATN did you not realize that the pick pocketing you did in Damascus was a part of the gathering information part? If I remember correctly you have 3 pieces of information to aquire but you need a minimum of 2, which is why you were allowed to go ahead with the assassination after eavesdropping.
Best is AC2. Can't wait for that playthrough.
+immarkwise oh man AC2 was my favorite game in the series. Probably in my top ten favorite games of all time
+immarkwise Indeed, AC2 was so amazing!
+DesertFoxCXVII to be honest the fighting was too Grindy. Ac brotherhood was the best in terms of making changes to combat
+immarkwise AC2 was my fave as well, with Brotherhood a close second - both for story and gameplay, and because I am a huge Renaisaance Italy geek :)
I loved 2,but I really think Brotherhood just refined everything that made it good, but with fewer annoying stealth sections (also on a personal note I adore the city renovation and assassin recruits)
Love this vid. Nice job Jon
I would love to see you play The Saboteur. I think it was a great game, like Assassin's Creed meets Red Faction. You would have such a field day.
Just a thought: have you ever considered doing a play through of any of the Dragon Age games?
+Kat Summers Funny you should mention Dragon Age. I'm pretty sure I recognize the Assassin boss guy's voice as that of Duncan from Dragon Age: Origins.
+blarg2429 I knew that voice sounded familiar!!
Kat Summers Took me a few minutes to place it, but yeah.
Dude a Dragon Age playthrough would be beautiful.
+Kat Summers Jon playing through Origins would be beautiful.
Jon just to let you know that altairs hidden blade cannot go through his hand or fingers as he cut off his middle finger i think so it has a clear path no matter how the hand is bent also someone correct me if im wrong please :-)

The combat is as quick as the player makes it.
jon. on the cut scenes whem the screen flashes with the animus pixels you can press a button and get alternative camera angles of the scenes.
After Assassin's Creed Week ends, you should complete this now that Soma is over.
May I just point out how everything in the beginning of the game is all Malik's fault? If he didn't grab Altair's hand, Malik wouldn't become injured, the other assassin would have survived, the templar would be dead, and this mission would have been a stunning success? I was a fan of assassins creed. Then unity happened
+Kaid “Sheperd” Pain Unity's story was awful, but I do like how they made you rely on stealth more by making the combat harder, I thought that was a great feature to the series and wish they added it earlier when the series was still in its "youth"
the 9/11 of the series
I wouldn't be the dramatic, how about the fort sumter of the series?
+Kaid “Sheperd” Pain But let's be honest, the free-running in that game was the best. At least in my opinion
Am I the only one who liked the increase in combat difficulty? I always thought combat was too easy in past games and tholught it was great!
3:20 or so That was absolutely hysterical. Another one of those 'I'm having trouble breathing because I'm laughing so much' moments.
Ah, so you're just sampling each of the games. I thought you were going to be playing through a game in its entirety in a single day, which seemed a bit insane. Jon dint notice Altair had his ring finger cut off
It is hard to notice. Hell i noticed when i was halfway through the game. On a horse.
1,2 and Revelations have aged remarkably well. Only at long distance you see the age of the grpahics clearly.
He might be free to hold his beliefs and what not. But I mean the guy was a traitor and a double agent for the Templars, most people *would* rightfully kill him.

+i5tarx Yea, but the Assassins Creed games are more of a story heavy game, not so much in the gameplay.
+i5tarx yeah the first AC has good core gameplay but it gets boring and repetitive real fast.
Take a shot every time Jon says 'the assassins creed'
MATN before you play number 2 you should do a video or just play the last mission (after you kill the templar dude you see at the beginning) the game at that point gets reaaaaaaally strange and begins to go in a wierd direction. i dont want to ruin it for anyone here as it is hard to explain it.

"What if I could do a 'From above' takedown", oh Jon, just wait for the later games
So Jon, did you read up about how the game ends before playing the next one in the series?
+NimjaIV Nope - I just trusted the next game's opening would get me caught up :)
Trust, eh? I have a bad feeling about tonight's episode, then. :)
Well I started with 2 and I was fine
3:18 I thought you were having a visual glitch where your legs didn't animate I got so confused xD
The first game was full of so much mystery, you were slowly uncovering and unpiecing a grand narrative. The later games progressively turned into standard action games with a tacked on sci-fi story. Not to say they're not good action games though.
Wow your guessing in the plot is SPOT ON you were right most the times! Many a true nerd you are very smart!
Jon is very smart, but I can't really give him credit for things easily spoiled after many years. Or if they are blantantly obvious. :P
If you were Link you'd be a millionaire by the end of the tutorial!
I know I'm probably too late to say this, but how the assassination is carried out is actually down to the player. Thanks for all the videos you make :)
Oh, and funny you should say about the hidden blade being potentially harmful to their hand...
Very enjoyable, I'm hoping this series includes ACII and ACIV, the rest, could be whichever...
I had the same reaction when first discovering Damascus :)
To Matt:
Masyaf is/was an actual fortress in Syria that the Hashashin occupied until they were dissolved. People are upset with Altair not because he tried to kill Robert but because he exposed the brotherhood in doing so.
When you said "looks like I'm going to have to kill everyone", that would have been a great excuse to advertise your fallout kill everything series.
I really hope john likes this, at least up to rev, one of the best franchises out there
Jon, the hidden blade doesn't extend unless you lift your wrist so you can't stab yourself.
Master:-"First you must prove to me you still remember how to be an assassin"
Jon:- "Knifey-Knifey neck; stabby stabby dead"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's pretty fun to do hidden blade only or short blade only runs. The game does get a little more varied, but monotony is definitely the biggest weakness of this game. And fleeing from combat did always seem more irritating than anything in this game.
Altair cut off his ring finger so that the blade would be able to pass through without piercing his knuckle.
Jon, what's a game you most regret not playing?
Jon, have you played the Battlefront beta? (I apologize if someone else has asked this.)
+MrAnttii I have not - that sort of game isn't really my thing
+Many A True Nerd but it's Star Wars 😔
+Clandsom yeah but it is not Star Wars Battlefront 2
+Clandsom yeah but it is not Star Wars Battlefront 2
+Many A True Nerd Jon you know what game you should play gears of war.
Is anyone really looking forward to syndicate?
+Lord Finagon Nope.
I am.
nhe. unity was shit (not talking about glitches, i had very few and they were meningless).
sydicate looks kind of cool i'll probably get it in some psn promotion.
+Lord Finagon I actually kind of am :)
Then you should prepare for bugs, possible microtransactions and the same old gameplay/storyline.
AC 2 best in the series by a mile
So excited to see this week through! Are you playing the 2nd Italian one set in Rome? :D The recreation is pretty good I remember being impressed at the time.
Piercing a knuckle with the hidden blade? Yeah they take away your ring finger for that very reason. Then late on "da Vinci" fixed it.
This game use to be a good franchise but unfortunately it had to die after Brotherhood.
+HUFFULUMPAGUS 3 was good as well
in fact the only game that i didn't liked was unity, revelations was ok.
+HUFFULUMPAGUS it was great because it wasnt assasins creed, it was a pirates game with AC on the title
+HUFFULUMPAGUS Black Flag was a really good game, just not a good AC game.
+SoulKilla1000 rev had its moments but you where helping the ottoderps so :/
3:18 Assassins: murdering templars and copping a feel inbetween...
I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. The older games are less sophisticated, particularly the first. That being said, I hope that you will eventually get deeper into and finish the older games, they generally have arcs designed to address the moral questions you were posing.
Did you catch the "what's the matter doc"?
I'm guessingJon has no idea how absurd the pickpocketing gets in the later games.
Hey Jon, I don't know if it had been said already or how many of these you have done in advance but could you please turn on subtitles please.
They cut off their finger so the hidden blade won't go through. At least in this one they did.
I can't wait to see Jon on unity. he will be fighting glitches more than he will be fighting actual enemies.
Just to let you know Altair is the most bad ass assassin ever one time he pull out a gun mid conversation mind you that it is like 1080 way before guns were a thing
Fucking love all these games!
Jon that place you like Wow that impressive for this time in history was real, same with the order assassins, in ways
Ah yes because he skipped 3rd grade social studies to not learn that Jerusalem was indeed, a real city -_-
EVERY DAY THIS WEEK!!!!! JON!!!!
2:00 Well we do on average get bigger than our previous generations. Kind of surprised they never tried to explain that as such.
Jon look closely at altiar's left hand he has no ring finger. Thats why he wont stab his own finger.
35:15 Bonanza theme music. Nice!
Hopefully you didn't pre-order Syndicate, MATN. We cannot let ubisoft get away with another buggy mess like unity.
Why not? Steam refunds exist now.
+Jonathan Gréen I don't care about the numbers, if I get my money back, then I haven't been affected at all
Ubisoft won't change their ways if consumers only think about themselves.
IS it me or does the Abstergo logo look very similar to the EA logo ?
All these things you have questions you have about Desmond will be answers
I like this game and this series, so I am a bit defensive about it but I can't deny Jon criticism.
Fun Fact: I remember when the syrian civil war started a news company used a image from this game to represent Damascus by accident...
I'm confused on how this playthrough is going to work. Is Jon going to just play an hour of each game for 5 days or is he going to continue these games in the future?
That laugh at 33:52 gets me every damn time XD
Wait what is this a touched up version or anything? It still looks quite good...
I thought it'd look like a PS2 era game by now. I mean it's not splendid or anything but the game is....just over 9 years old.
That's pretty damn impressive. It's a shame Ubisoft doesn't really attain this kind of quality now most of their games look really similar and haven't advanced all that much. Watch Dogs 2 is fairly nice I guess but all the colour kinda disguises the quality a bit.
Speaking of Watchdogs, what happened to that series?
I think Watch Dogs 2.0 is pretty much guaranteed. If it is better than 1 in the same way that Assassin's Creed was better the second time, it could be fun. Aiden need not return however...
This was the best 'Assassin' game. 2 had the best story. But I like unity and syndicates parkour system.
Le sigh...
+Many A True Nerd Did you play assasains creed 3:)?
+Many A True Nerd The difference is more ends than it it means. The Templars want control, the Assassins want freedom. They then both go about it the same way. Murder and manipulation; Templars more manipulation, Assassins more murder . AC 2, which you may have played by now, goes into the concept that neither are the good guys, they both just want different things. If the Templars and Assassins wanted the same thing, they'd easily merge.
Matn - when fallout 4 comes out will you put your fallout 3 series on hold?
In another video and on his reddit he mentions Fallout 3 will continue on Sundays with daily streaming or videos of Fallout 4.
I always assumed that he stabbed you somewhere non-lethal with a dagger poisoned with some sort of sleeping poison
Apple.
+Reign he doesn't get the Apple of Eden until after he stabs you so he couldn't have used it.
+John Angus Negative, he is given the apple right before Robert attacks the city. It is the artifact retrieved from Solomon's temple and he already knew if it's existence and some of its potential.
What if Jon was in assassins Creed syndicate?
What you said about the hidden blade and how you'd stab yourself, no actually look at his hand witch the hidden blade comes out, his ring finger Was severed so that would never happen. This is even joked about in the second game where Leonardo says that it once required sacrifice of your ring finger but no longer.
+Jordan Boone If you do some research on the hidden blade, it has many issues besides the stabbing yourself... though that is still quite possible, even while missing a finger.
The finger is a sacrifice, it won't help to NOT stab urself
+Adam English Since the blade shoots out of where the the wrist up to where the finger is they sever it so that never happens, in not saying the hidden blade could exist (as in how does it trigger?) but you would not stab yourself because you'd obviously do as the characters do, which is flick your wrist back so It doesn't hit the palm
"How would they know I didn't put someone else's blood on there?"
They wouldn't, but Allah would. Remember that Altair is deeply religious
It really annoys me any time I hear Altair talking in an American accent, whilst all the others are middle eastern.
please do a batman arkham games run
even though (spoilers) the master is the villain in ac1 for me the best part about ac1 was the moral problems
its not that he disagreed its more that he let in the other army who killed our people
the assassins in the first game are loosely based off of real assassins during the crusades who did have a castle
the knights templar where a French order so the templars being french makes seance
Do more Fallout 3: YOLO uploads. You'll get way more views!
I like the other games he plays.
+CptArmarlio Jon has a schedule and follows it, consistency is important.
Theodore O So is Fallout .
Hw doesn't care. He wants to do this...
+CptArmarlio I don't think he cares about views.
So...don't face palm with the hidden blade then?
please play the witcher...it's like a perfect game for you
Do you actually enjoy the AC franchise? Sorry if you already answered in the vid haven't watched the whole thing
