I have very textured ceilings. Some are that popcorn, and I don’t know what the other raised texture is called. It’s even worse than the popcorn ceiling for holding dust and tiny cobwebs. Does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning those before painting? I was even thinking about using a shop vac on a ladder with the brush attachment. I hate to think of the little white bits of popcorn all over everything in the room.
I'm going to respectfully disagree with you, sir. It's not because of us that this happened, it's because of you. You didn't have to invest the proceeds of these videos back into the house, you didn't have to go there and help in the first place. This is because of you. I'm just happy to play a small part in it.
It seems that doing this kind of work in a skirt might be limiting but then again, the Scot’s have been working in them for years without any complaints; Mack could pull it off? This is my honest thoughts on this “skirt” discussion?!
I’m glad you don’t show homeowners reactions. That’s not what this is about. You can tell us how much they liked it without it feeling like they are being used for views. And I think she has a good eye for colors. I love that she picked them out and trusted you to work your magic. Stanley, you really measure up 😊
You hit on something I've felt, but never knew how to verbalize. I've never liked reaction videos. I think they're terribly exploitative. When I see something nice, I don't want a camera in my face capturing my reaction. Live in the moment! Not everything has to be captured on camera and put online
I think I'd like to see a bit more storytelling around the couple, so we can learn a bit more about them and why this transformation is helping them overcome their difficulties, which could help others going through similar problems. But only if they want. That would include reaction shots, but it would be tasteful because it would be part of the story and not done as exploitative viewer bait.
This. It's one thing if the people actually don't mind or ask. But most people hate being on camera. and then they feel pressured to be on video because they got their house fixed up.
@@outlander_... I never said the tradeoff should be being on camera. I think McMansion people are some of the most boring people out there. The stories are where the regular people live.
My wife worked for 40 yrs in beige offices. When we bought this house she asked if I would please get rid of all the beige in the house (and it was all beige!) and paint it in bright happy colors. YES! No two rooms have the same color scheme. Most people told me no one will want to buy your house with all those colors! Well fine! Until THEY are paying the mortgage the colors stay. When its theirs, they can come in and spray the whole thing beige or I guess gray since it is the new beige. So, well well done brother by honoring these folks with what THEY want!! I hope you get a million views on this video, too.
I don't know how else to word this, but I'm glad of all the home renovators I've seen, that you are one that's autistic. The lack of loud music and lack of excessive noise, the understanding that the homeowner should pick their own colors, and the calm (and sometimes funny) narration makes for a perfect video for me to watch (as I am also autistic). Too many organization/crafty channels focus so much on "asmr" stuff that it's physically painful for me to watch. I cannot stand most creative content these days due to the asmr takeover. Basically I'm saying THANK YOU for making your videos friendly to ALL of your viewers. Been loving your channel ever since I found it.
As someone with ADHD, it's similar: I get too distracted by the millions of sounds and colors, I end up hyper fixating on one aspect of the reno so much, the entire video is over by time I have resolved my thought 😂
I love that you’re mentoring them by explaining how to learn how to fix things. As someone who grew up without the benefit of having parents who could model how to keep a home clean and well-maintained, I relied heavily on learning from my in-laws and my friends. That type of teaching is truly invaluable. You’re giving them a fish AND teaching them how to fish. ❤
What an astute observation! I agree and find this to be so respectful, trusting in the couple's ability to learn what they might never have had the chance to- or exposure to- the ways in which homeowners take care of their property and find pride in living there... Excellent compassionate and intelligent approach.
You hit the nail on the head with this. I also grew up with parents who wouldn't/couldn't teach me how to clean and maintain a home, so youtube videos like these have been life changing. The amount of life skills I've learned from youtube is amazing.
even before you started, as a renter who lives under the poverty line, my heart grew two sizes when I saw the Christmas tree. I haven't had the space or the money to have a Christmas tree since I had to move out of my parents, and I doubt they have either. you're really healing families here
I'm in a city and I've seen more than one decent Christmas tree on the street. Prehaps keeping your eye on Facebook market place or Freecycle, or placing a request on there would work.
Been there. Started with a $5 table top tree a few years ago, can add some lights if you have them. The dollar store or those stores that sell overstock or returned items usually has them for cheap. But the year before last I got a great tree (for me) during boxing week sales. Xmas stuff is always 50-75% off the last week of the year. I have to move stuff around and put things into storage to make space for the tree for the month but it's worth it.
Big lots had tiny little Christmas trees for $10 I got one for my daughters. When we were renting one place a rule was you couldn’t have a real tree so I got one just like that and put it on the main living room windowsill. It was really cute.
I LOVE that she went with 'her' colors!! I have a very dark aesthetic for my home and zero fluffs could be given what anyone else thinks. Different (paint) strokes for different folks!! And I'm glad the cat was supervising Jason's painting. Things could have really gotten out of hand!!
Agreed. The cat was a great supervisor. I too have some darker things in our home but it makes it cozy. I love having an accent wall in rooms, it's like putting your own special touch on the room. Great job, you definitely know what your doing. Ever thought of being an interior designer? I never in a million years thought orange was going to look good, but it turned out awesome.
I love this new direction you're going, diving in deep on repairs and remodeling and decorating, this is wonderful. Your regular deep cleanings are already such a huge blessing to those who really need one, but this kind of transformation takes it to a whole new level. Life changing.
I found it hilarious that she loved green so much, she decided to paint her whole kitchen green, but then she has a white Christmas tree, the only naturally green thing you usually have in a house. x'D
This is soul care. You show so much critical thinking and empathy in your actions. You are creating a space that will help these people see themselves differently and feel uplifted and cared for. This channel is beyond anything else. You are elevating it to the next 10 levels. Well done!!
I have very severe ADHD. It is so rare that someone actually provide a real, material service for people like me. It really affected me to hear that. Thank you for acknowledging the real pain and the struggle we go through.
I can't personally thank you enough. After watching this particular one, so much clicked. So, I tried it today, OMG!!! I cleared everything out, cleaned & only returned what was wanted or needed. I noticed there was even more air ! HA! I'm still bubbalooed over such simple, yet very rational advice & what it's done for my being. Thank you truly❤ I'm sorry to hear about Emily & what your all experiencing, thank God she went to the hospital! Rest Mr. Stanley Measuring Tape....please don't further injure yourself. What you did for that couple was Gi-Normous ! That was equivalent to hitting the lottery and they were so appreciative. Best to you & your family, best wishes to Emily❤
Isn't is wonderful when we hear something and it clicks in us? Sometimes I laugh at myself and wonder why I didn't think of that, though I'm always thankful. Mr. Stanley Measuring Tape has a wonderful soul, doesn't he? Best to you!
I appreciate you starting the conversation regarding one of the biggest yet unknown threat facing Americans today: Moose. Luring them from inside the house is not difficult, but preventing them from ever entering is. I am so grateful you take this threat seriously, and are helping this couple with such an important issue.
You have totally convinced my daughter and me to give our apartment a make over! A little paint, some new/used furniture and new decorations, and it might just feel like a home to us after more than two years.
Just knowing that someone really cares and its helping you out really helps with the depression. Most people with depression neglect their household unintentionally so that makes their self esteem even lower than it already was just with the deppression alone. Just knowing somebody is there for you when you really need it helps immensely.
I love the orange! I'm sure there are people watching that were not alive in the 70s. People had orange shag rugs. We had an orange sofa. My high school cafeteria had orange walls. Everyone enjoyed bright colors. My bedroom was pink and it had one wall that was bright fuchsia! This gives me the warm fuzzies.
Orange, avocado, or eggplant was popular in the 70's. Mom did eggplant for the bedroom and bathroom. Dad didn't like Iike it, but "happy wife..." I inherited the home, so we painted. It was a GLOSS finish, so we sanded, primed with Kilz and two coats. If it is scuffed you can find that paint!
As someone who has battled with depression for the last 5 years due to a divorce and some health issues, I can relate to this couple and this video. I let my house go for awhile and now it needs quite a few repairs and I dont ever have anyone over because I feel embarrassed. Thank you for what you are doing and this gives me hope that one day I may be able to make my house feel like a home.
I guarantee you, members of your local church are dying to help you!! Just go in ask! A church, biblically speaking, is not a building - it’s a community that serves each other. In doing so, they are following Christ’s teachings, much of which is about action. ❤
My dad is a hoarder. He hoards mostly tools and building materials but also clothes and any interesting knick knacks or furniture he finds. He even has huge amounts of old womens clothing and kids stuff even though he's lived alone for more than 2 decades. I will probably have about a years worth of work getting rid of stuff and renovating when he's passed or gone to a nursing home. Its going to be hard but I don't see him being able to empty his house enough to fix stuff and paint before that happens even though he is making an effort. Watching you gives me hope for the future because it makes the prospect less daunting when you see it being done. Thank you so much for all you do and for your compassion ❤️
I agree, keep the homeowners private. Leave them their dignity. I’m just happy you got to see their happiness and joy. I don’t need or want to see it. Just glad my subscription and membership can help.
I have a feeling MMC is going to literally transform the area he lives in for the better one house at a time. Imagine if this practice was repeated how so many lives would be improved and communities made better.
I'm betting no one in her entire life has done anything close to what you have done for this woman. You are such a good man! And I like how you are showing step by step how you don't need to spend $50,000.00 to make you home so much nicer :-)
I absolutely LOVE that you took the lady of the house and let her choose her favorite colors. Might not be my cup of tea, but you made the color combos flow brilliantly! I am also thankful to you for the respectful way you treat each person you clean for. I have seen other folks poke fun at others problems for laughs, you never do that and always shine the best light on all of your clients. Thank you for doing all of this for them and thank you for the great content!
I used to rent a house that had these colors, the pastel orange and the light green. The living room walls alternated the orange and green colors like you described. I loved it. In the dining room they used the green and they did a technique with rags that made the paint look like it had a marbled effect and it was great. I lived there 10 years. When I moved out the landlord had the whole place painted white and it made me sad. I felt like it killed the soul of that house. These colors remind me of that house. I love the homeowners choice of colors. It gives the home it's soul. Thanks for helping these folks.
I’m sure you already know about color psychology and how colors can affect your moods. The homeowner picked good colors! Orange inspired creativity and vitality, and green is a welcoming homey soothing color. Green is used a lot in hospitality b/c of this. This is going to make them feel so much better! This probably made their entire year!
Hoping Emily is doing better. As an ICU nurse, I know exactly what she’s going to need. I used to instruct nurses and doctors on electrolyte issues and their causes and treatments. Just know that she’s being prayed for and hope her surgery and recovery go smoothly. What you and your family/crew do for these people is a huge blessing.
The homeowner made some bold color choices and she chose well! 💚🧡 The house is looking so fresh and bright, and I can imagine the couple who lives there is feeling more and more at home. Learning how to own and care for a home after years of renting is a process, and I love that you took the time to give them advice on how to fix issues that come up without judging them for not knowing.
I really DO love the total transformation channel that this is turning into. Amazing job and to paint with NO drop sheets, legendary!! Lots of love from Australia!
That cat wasn't letting you out of sight! They call you the cat whisperer in Katmandu😂 I'm so happy you told us how they reacted. It's really great to hear that they were so appreciative and happy with it💞
Me at 23:54 "CAT! CAT! Aww." I adore how she is getting HER colours, and HER choices. It's just so lovely, and gives her autonomy over a house that wasn't really Home.
People bitching about paint colors on any house transformation video is so annoying, I'm glad you've layed it down here and said on both videos that these are her colors going on her house so anyone else needs to shut their mouths. I hope this transformation bought some more joy into their lives.
I really like that you stayed true to the homeowners choices and made it work. I was amazed at how much that just good painting techniques freshened up the place. You and Filth are awesome for stepping up and helping a family in need. I saw how you respected their home and their kitties! Much love to you guys! Prayers for the wife!
I read your comment and when I saw you call Jason "filth". Just for a minute mega second I thought "awe poor Jason"...then I got a grip on myself 😂😂😂... But. Poor Jason.
This was wonderful! I especially like the way you painted, respecting the wife's choices of color and making them work well for the space. You have what we call 'a good eye' for perspective and detail... Great to see the multiple videos of parts of the same house- nice continuity and satisfies my curiosity. Thank you so much for this- made my day!
There's nothing that makes you love your home more than walking into a room and loving the way it looks. I own my home. I love the fact that I can decorate to my taste. If someone doesn't like it, they don't need to visit. I love the colors she chose. The living room reminds me of a cream cicle.
I once painted my room orange because I had heard it was a color for change. My landlord was not thrilled, but I actually did have a huge life change after.
I was the landlord of tenants who painted a couple of rooms bright orange. They did ask permission first. it was way too bright, even for them, as they admitted later!
In my brothers rented apartment he painted bright orange and avocado green arrows around the ceilings in each room and the hallway. Looked pretty cool. Landlords are such party poopers.😮
These videos are 100x more interesting than one of those home makeover shows because this is just a normal house and you're doing things that anyone can do if they put some money and effort into it.
That is so true about utilizing you tube to learn how to fix things. My dish washer was not drying anymore and i did not have the money to replace it. I went on you tube and did all of the trouble shooting suggestions and found out that the pump was broken. Went on a video on how to replace it and found a appliance replacement parts store and fixed the dishwasher myself. The ladies at the parts store asked me how I figured how to do that. I told them I graduated from you tube university 😅. Anyway I love the colors in this house. Very cottage/ boho chic
I definitely really appreciate that you dont show the homeowners, I think that filming reactions can be exploitative. Not always, but definitely can be. I think the genuine desire to help others is a huge part of why people enjoy your videos. If you have any amount of empathy you can imagine the gratitude felt for this kindness.
You, sir, are a miracle worker!!! The orange/peach paint in the living room is beautiful!! Its so bright and cheerful, Im sure that it will lift the homeowners spirit (and the fact that people care about her). The dark green paint in the bedroom makes it cosy. I bet she will sleep really well. And was that a velvet duvet?? Fancy!! Give Emily a hug for me. I'm so glad her doctor picked up on the hypercalcemia and y'all were able to get to the ER. I hope Emily is resting as much as possible until she can get surgery. And you, sir, need to take it easy. Dont make me use your government name. 🤨 You cant help your homeowners or Emily if you are exhausted.
Don't forget the cats. I saw them supervising the whole work. Well done, cats!! 😊😊😊 Thank you, Sir, for doing all this and thanks to the family who allowed you to show it.
Life skills are so important. Learning how to care for your home is not always intuitive. The tips you gave them and your viewers about utube are so helpful and thoughtful.
Bro! You spin kicked this house straight into glory! Like, it looks 1mil (x) better than what it originally did. The amount of work you put in this house is awesome and totally remarkable! You really are such a hero for all these people! You show true care and dedication, when cleaning and remaking their homes. Well done to both of you!!! Much ❤ and appreciation! We need more ppl like you!!
Hi, I am the mom, from the movie Miracle Run. I’m a member.and my cleaning skills have vastly improved since watching your videos. I firmly believe organizing and cleaning your home is healthy and healing. Having autistic twins, Stephen and Phillip, I have always encouraged them to clean because it trains the brain, it will make anyone better, help reach goals and transform their life. BTW, I had my bathroom painted this bright orange, purposely: it’s a happy color.
I love this movie and watched it as a younger woman. My sons little boy is autistic and I believe God used it in my life. You did a great job with your boys! Thanks for telling us your story.
Oh Mack, what a lovely change. I can imagine she is over the moon with joy. You and Jason worked so hard, my arms and shoulders were aching just watching you. Give Emily a big hug for us. Sending her healing energy. You take care of you too. We will be here. Stay awesome.😎
What a nice and thoughtful thing you did for these people. It is so refreshing to see the kindness that you choose to do for people. It is a rare thing nowadays. Thank you for all you do. My husband is a painter and owns his own business and I am very impressed on how good you are at painting.
The world needs more men like Mack. Glad to hear your wife got help in the nick of time. Wishing you both good health and continued success! 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love what you did. It just changed their lives, I'm sure . I'm also sure that you gave them a sense of pride in a place they likely were embarrassed to show people. That changes a person! 💜
I love the colors she picked. The dark orange looks like my livingroom/kitchen accent wall in my home. I love the walls. They make me hungry for a cream-cycle popsicle. Yummy. That color is my happy color.😂 It is helping my depression lessen to the point I was able to start cleaning my house again. Also, F.Y.I. -I love their beautiful kitty's 🐈🐈⬛ meow.
Did you ever think that all of the various bits and pieces of your life would come together in this way? That the lessons and blessings would enable you to transform someone’s home and life like this, and not just them… Millions of people. All over the world. You’re amazing! I love you and I love your family and I’m so glad that Emily is doing better. That must have been terrifying. ❤
Cleaning, painting, and decorating really help lift depression. I have to say that repairing so much tops everything . The cost of multiple companies, time off work, and stress to trust someone...so glad you could remove that stress.
2023 was a good year because I found your channel. I've never seen so much dedication, empathy and help for people in need. I want to thank you, Mack. You and your family, who are simply wonderful all together. I wish you a wonderful Christmas and especially all the best for Emily.
A ton of personality is wrapped up in that ladies choice of colors! I love it! At my age I can't help people the way I'd like, but now that I'm a member I appreciate having a way to help you help others, thanks for giving me that opportunity😘
I loved catching a glimpse of the kitchen again. it looks so warm and cozy. Thank you for re-explaining the color choice. I do like the soft orange! I love these videos with the extra painting and such. Awesome on getting the new mattress as well. People don't need to be embarrassed. Everyone has their challenges in life. My best wishes to Emily for good recovery. So glad she was able to catch that just in time.
It's beautiful - because you not only allow her but encourage her to be herself. That is awesome. I have colors people don't like, pastel green. I like the antique vibe and those are the colors I choose. I can state from experience having colors you like means you are happier each time you go in the room. That is a present that that affects you daily. May those colors make them happy and help daily with changing moods for the better.
You are an angel, "Stanley." Not only are you helping these people get their homes clean and livable, but also lifting their spirits by making them look nice, and that's huge. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
I think this is excellent she wanted to make this house her home so kudos to her The wonderful thing about paint is if you don't like it you can change it She's also learning not to be afraid to do things on her own Beautiful!!!!
Mack I’m almost in tears seeing the work and love that you have put into this home. You and Jason are truly something special! I cannot imagine how these homeowners felt when they saw all that you have done. I can tell you I’d be in tears and on my hands and knees kissing your feet. I am SOOOO EXCITED to see what y’all do next to this home. And I LOVE that after this one is finished you’ll find another homeowner to bless. You are amazing Mack. Truly and utterly selfless and amazing. And of course sweet Jason is as well. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for helping these people in need. God sees you my friend and many blessings will come to you. I am so happy that Emily is ok and doing well now. My thoughts and prayers are with her❤❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I absolutely love you that you gave this woman a true choice in picking bright colors! You are such a thoughtful, considerate person. You have no idea how much you help me out!
New curtains? $100. New paint? $900. That first night climbing under the covers on your brand new bed, in your newly decorated room, remodeled out of kindness and at no cost to you? PRICELESS! Beautiful ❤❤❤
I remember back on the farm in the old days, like the ‘70s we lived in a very small community with just a general store, a farm equipment repair, a huge church and eventually a new school. We ordered paint and such from Sears or Eatons catalogues (yes I am that old). In the seventies the colours available from Sears were Orange, Lime Green, Purple and the like. So this is like way back in my childhood👍👍
This will make a major change in this family's physical, let alone mental health. I really warmed up to the colour choices when I saw the finished product. Very cottagecore vibe.
I love that you let people go wild with whatever colors they resonate with. I actually have a bedroom that's entirely painted in pumpkin orange, and it's so soothing and warm at night, even though it's bright and alarming the first time you see it. "Pumpkin and caucasian" is a combo I didn't know should happen, but it really works!
Love how the cat makes sure you are doing everything right. You are the example of when intention is for the greater good success follows. Love everything you do ❤
I'm one of those people who are afraid to go with bold colors to paint... this gives me a little inspiration to try something more vibrant.... great job, especially the ceilings, they really look so much better. And the pop from those colors, wow. It really works the way you painted it.
Dear MMC, Thank you so much for this channel, I am 69 and have ADD and have never been able to keep a clean home because of overwhelmed drowning and dont know how to start, love the idea of move out cleaning. Going to try it. You are a crazy kind man, please keep blessing us all with your good works!
You have a heart of gold and your wisdom is profound! We are in the process of cleaning our son’s house and then basically rehabbing the entire thing. He is in alcohol rehab right now and also has mental health issues. Mainly severe depression . We work about 20 hours a week there and have been doing it for many months. Sometimes I would get angry because of how bad it was but after listening to you almost all day today, 😀, I feel I have more understanding and compassion. Thank you!! You’re the best!!!! ❤
I love how you had her choose her colors. The homeowners are the people who will be spending time in that place. The colors should make them happy. I hope your wife is continuing to do well and that the medication is working for her.
Hi Stanley Mesuring Tape! Thank you so much for what you do Mack. I'm so thankful someone like you is making millions of views doing what you do. I love that you help people. I love the way you talk about the people you help and their situations. You really make it so simple and clear that I feel we viewers will change and be less judgmental. I love your jokes 😂 So, take care good care of yourself and your wife. Take the time you need to rest and enjoy all your loved ones. Merci, merci, merci ❤ PS: Do not, under any circumstances, talk to the mooses 😁
I love these videos so much! I think they're doing so well because so many of us don't really know to/cannot afford to pay people to paint, decorate, etc. We gratefully just moved into our first home and I love it so much, but I'm so stuck on how to decorate it. It looks like we're still teenagers living with random pieces of furniture and no decor on the walls, and these videos give me so many tips and ideas! I've been making sure to watch all the ads, even the longer ones, because as someone who also struggles with mental health, I can imagine just how much of a difference this is making for them and I want to support you doing this moving forward, and I hope that your time and energy are being compensated as well from us. This is such a great accidental series!
Who the fuck is asking for reaction videos from the homeowners? The whole reason this channel is so good is because it doesn't rely on exploiting the people it helps.
You are the best example that kindness and compassion still exists in our world. So many say how bad things are these days. I think of people as either fountains or drains. Drains constantly complain and suck people down with negativity. Fountains find solutions, lift people up and create rainbows. You, our friend are the best example of a fountain❤. Your hard work, empathy for others and generosity of your time is so appreciated. So glad that Emily is doing better. Sending much love and wishes for a very Merry Christmas from our home in upstate New York to yours and this family🌲🌲
Glad your wife is ok. The place looks nice. It's very kind of you guys to do this for them. You be sure to get good rest and relaxation before you return to work. That's the mama in me talking. You and your family have a wonderful Christmas. God bless you and your family.
So Happy your wife is ok! I know she has surgery soon and you all are in my prayers! I think I’ve said it a lot on here but you and your family are wonderful examples of how people should be in this world to each other! Merry Christmas!🎄❤️
You definitely went above and beyond foe this one!! Thank you for making a difference in her life not just the house but a mattress and new bedding, curtains , it's amazing knowing there's good people like you in this world
I love the peach color. Its bright without being to bold. My mom painted our bedroom that color when we were teens. Bright colors help mental health as well.
Love how the Kitty goes around like it is a supervisor!!!
It is their house ... what are these incomers doing? 😉
@@tetedur377 all 3! There is a grey, a black and a black/white patched

So Matthew, is it true you will clean in a skirt when you hit 400,000 subscribers?
Yeah let's hope so !@@nancybuchanan8122
It seems that doing this kind of work in a skirt might be limiting but then again, the Scot’s have been working in them for years without any complaints; Mack could pull it off? This is my honest thoughts on this “skirt” discussion?!
So happy to hear you took care of the Moose problem. Who knew it only took a few carrots.
I’m glad you don’t show homeowners reactions. That’s not what this is about. You can tell us how much they liked it without it feeling like they are being used for views.
Well put !
I enjoy the lack of irrelevant noise too! These videos are so calming.
Yes!!! I can’t stand the annoying music lots of channels use. This is so much more relaxing 😊
As someone with ADHD, it's similar: I get too distracted by the millions of sounds and colors, I end up hyper fixating on one aspect of the reno so much, the entire video is over by time I have resolved my thought 😂
Your channel is transforming from a cleaning channel to a "Total House, Home and Life Restoration" channel...and I approve!
I haven't had the space or the money to have a Christmas tree since I had to move out of my parents, and I doubt they have either. you're really healing families here
In a thrift store , you may be able to find a small, not overpriced nice Christmas tree. Sending you a cyber hug ❤️
❤@@mariasant7810
All videos in the world are much better with a cat 😄❤️
I love this new direction you're going, diving in deep on repairs and remodeling and decorating, this is wonderful. Your regular deep cleanings are already such a huge blessing to those who really need one, but this kind of transformation takes it to a whole new level. Life changing.
I ABSOLUTELY 💯 AGREE 👍
I found it hilarious that she loved green so much, she decided to paint her whole kitchen green, but then she has a white Christmas tree, the only naturally green thing you usually have in a house. x'D
This is soul care. You show so much critical thinking and empathy in your actions. You are creating a space that will help these people see themselves differently and feel uplifted and cared for. This channel is beyond anything else. You are elevating it to the next 10 levels. Well done!!
@@moon-moth1 thank you for saying that. I felt a little silly typing it, but it was my honest reaction.
So so true! I couldn't have said it better so I won't even try.
You are an amazing loving man GOD BLESS YOU FRIEND
Life can be hard and we're not supposed to go through it alone. Sometimes, we just need a little help. Thank you for being that person
There used to be a show called “Clean Sweep” that did this approach.
This is the most awesome thing I've seen on TH-cam in a long time. Thank you for making this world a little nicer for everyone.
I appreciate you starting the conversation regarding one of the biggest yet unknown threat facing Americans today: Moose. Luring them from inside the house is not difficult, but preventing them from ever entering is. I am so grateful you take this threat seriously, and are helping this couple with such an important issue.
Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Yes- the moose problem has been understated and underestimated for many years!
". . and now their house is moose-free."
🤣🤣🤣
You just want to be sure we're all paying attention!
Great job, BIG hearts!
Just curious: Does Illinois have a big moose problem, we don't here in Indiana? LOL
@@MKCarol-ms7lgI've heard said, them meeses (sp)mooses?? are becoming a problem everywhere you go.
You have totally convinced my daughter and me to give our apartment a make over! A little paint, some new/used furniture and new decorations, and it might just feel like a home to us after more than two years.
Omg! The amount of kindness you’ve showed this couple has my eyeballs leaking saltwater 😭😭😭😭😭
I still have orange shag carpets!
@@rieb9365 I love that!
I remember the orange (& the gold & avocado green)!
Orange, avocado, or eggplant was popular in the 70's. Mom did eggplant for the bedroom and bathroom. Dad didn't like Iike it, but "happy wife..."
I inherited the home, so we painted. It was a GLOSS finish, so we sanded, primed with Kilz and two coats. If it is scuffed you can find that paint!
I loved those colors in the 70s
As someone who has battled with depression for the last 5 years due to a divorce and some health issues, I can relate to this couple and this video. I let my house go for awhile and now it needs quite a few repairs and I dont ever have anyone over because I feel embarrassed. Thank you for what you are doing and this gives me hope that one day I may be able to make my house feel like a home.
Never be afraid to ask for help !
❤
Don't ever feel ashamed. Sometimes we are all a little broken.
I guarantee you, members of your local church are dying to help you!! Just go in ask! A church, biblically speaking, is not a building - it’s a community that serves each other. In doing so, they are following Christ’s teachings, much of which is about action. ❤
I’m definitely with you on not showing the reactions. The recipients don’t need us in their face, so to speak. I wish them and you all the best!
Ohhh😮 thank you! Needed I was just watching MrAstrotheology on TH-cam… talking on much research regarding Cell Salts! 🧡
Excellent work. Looks so nice.
Triple thumbs up from Australia 👍👍👍
That cat wasn't letting you out of sight! They call you the cat whisperer in Katmandu😂
I'm so happy you told us how they reacted. It's really great to hear that they were so appreciative and happy with it💞
Me at 23:54 "CAT! CAT! Aww."
I adore how she is getting HER colours, and HER choices. It's just so lovely, and gives her autonomy over a house that wasn't really Home.
!!!
I had a room size canvas purchased and I hung that on the wall and then I could paint that canvas any color I wanted much to my landlord's pleasure.
Was the big change that you got evicted? 😂😂😂 J/k ✌️✌️✌️
Big 1970s colors@@MKCarol-ms7lg
Their cat being the supervisor of this whole operation making sure you don't slack off!
Hope Emily is doing better! Glad she got the medical attention she needed! Thanks for all you and your family do!
You cant help your homeowners or Emily if you are exhausted.
Don't forget the cats. I saw them supervising the whole work.
Well done, cats!! 😊😊😊
Thank you, Sir, for doing all this and thanks to the family who allowed you to show it.
❤️❤️❤️
Oh Mack, what a lovely change. I can imagine she is over the moon with joy. You and Jason worked so hard, my arms and shoulders were aching just watching you. Give Emily a big hug for us. Sending her healing energy. You take care of you too. We will be here. Stay awesome.😎
What a nice and thoughtful thing you did for these people. It is so refreshing to see the kindness that you choose to do for people. It is a rare thing nowadays. Thank you for all you do. My husband is a painter and owns his own business and I am very impressed on how good you are at painting.
MC Hammer didn't know how to help people without losing himself. I am so happy that you figured it out. Thanks for all you do.
I love how you are turning this channel into something really special. So glad I found your content.
I love the colors she picked. The dark orange looks like my livingroom/kitchen accent wall in my home. I love the walls. They make me hungry for a cream-cycle popsicle. Yummy. That color is my happy color.😂
It is helping my depression lessen to the point I was able to start cleaning my house again.
Also, F.Y.I. -I love their beautiful kitty's 🐈🐈⬛ meow.
Wishing a speedy recovery to your wife. Keep up the awesome work 👍😊
Did you ever think that all of the various bits and pieces of your life would come together in this way? That the lessons and blessings would enable you to transform someone’s home and life like this, and not just them… Millions of people. All over the world. You’re amazing! I love you and I love your family and I’m so glad that Emily is doing better. That must have been terrifying. ❤
"And now the house is moose free"...😆🤣🤣
You're my hero ❤😂.
Cleaning, painting, and decorating really help lift depression. I have to say that repairing so much tops everything . The cost of multiple companies, time off work, and stress to trust someone...so glad you could remove that stress.
I love how the cat likes to see what you’re up to. 😻
I really like the colors she picked out. It turns a "random" house into their own home! The green kitchen and orange living room work great together!
Those 2 tones of orange look so nice. It’s amazing how much life you can bring into a house with a few coats of paint. Especially the ceiling paint!
Prayers for Emily’s continued
healing. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'm so thankful that Emily is feeling better and that she is home and resting.
Sending lots of good energy to her and your entire family!! ❤️❤️
The two tone orange in that room was so brightening, almost like you added a south facing window! A lovely change!
Wow! Jason did a fabulous job of painting!!!! Thanks for allowing me to share in the joy!!
PS- Surprisingly, I LOVE the pumpkin wall!!!
I love them, but hubby would do all white. We TRY to meet in the middle...
That deep orange wall with the black iron console table and the white lamps is absolutely beautiful!!!
I love orange. Not many ppl would be this brave. So really cool
Your kindness just shines Mack! Wishing you and your family good health, a restful and joyful holiday period🌲
Thanks for doing the door!! And I just loved the cats watching you!
Omg! How scary about Emily! Glad she’s doing better.
That overhead painting is a b-h! Hope your and Jason’s shoulders and back are ok!
They are not afraid of Color! It looks great. 🧡💚
Ahh her colours she picked looked lovely, really brought out the artwork in the lounge. Well done guys, you made it some cozy for them ❤
Hi Stanley Mesuring Tape!
Thank you so much for what you do Mack. I'm so thankful someone like you is making millions of views doing what you do.
I love that you help people.
I love the way you talk about the people you help and their situations. You really make it so simple and clear that I feel we viewers will change and be less judgmental.
I love your jokes 😂
So, take care good care of yourself and your wife. Take the time you need to rest and enjoy all your loved ones.
Merci, merci, merci ❤
PS: Do not, under any circumstances, talk to the mooses 😁
Blessings to you
I love these videos so much!
